Was hoping for a second night of unrestrained debauchery, but hes being an ass after a shite day at work, so it's best if he just went home and slept it off, I'm not his girlfriend so I'm not dealing with the attitude tonight.

Note to self, buy a couple bottles of Italian wine next trip.  For the 3rd time in about 10 days I made Italian and serving with French wine.

Tripe Roman style (Mario Batali) with a Caesar salad and Italian bread.

Family member is having surgery tomorrow and my Peruvian will be assisting their youngest with distance learning.

Snow fall estimates tomorrow are about 12 inches.

So normally and taken separately, this would all be fine.  Except they are happening the same day.  I’m driving in the AM, and I told her to pack a bag in case I can’t get back until the next day to retrieve her.  It’s a hilly over one hour round trip in good weather.

Sorry you're getting so much snow.

We're just getting a touch of that snow storm as it skirts beneath Detroit.  I'm north of Detroit and hopefully don't see any.

It will be a decision on whether to go in the afternoon or not, when I wanted my decision to  be watching the snow out the window while deciding on bourbon and eggnog, cider and rum, or coffee and Baileys.

Finding out someone I know had to have amputations, foot and lower leg on the right and toe on the left due to complications from COVID.  Who the hell knew that could happen from this disease? I sure didn’t.  And instead of finding out from a friend, I find out reading here?  Since then, I’ve seen it on Imgur too, so I could have just as easily stumbled on it there or reading elsewhere.  I’m so in tune with events National and the world, yet clueless about my own own community of friends and acquaintances.  For a couple months in the spring I would read local obituaries, but stopped by the summer.  I wonder how many more surprises are coming?

Covid causes breathing issues which can effect the amount of oxygen to the lower extremities. It had to have been pretty extreme for it to lead to amputation.  Can only hope it stops there.

And we just had a someone we knew well from our local high school pass away from Covid.

She was fine Thanksgiving.  9 days later she was on a ventilator.  And last night word spread through the community.  So sad.
