I’ve never understood the McRib sandwich. In Texas, we have so much quality authentic smoked barbecue, there’s no point.  McRibs are right up there with fried chicken and watermelon for racial stereotyping.  Rare to see a McHonky eating one.

McDonalds does have decent coffee. Never tried the faux rib sandwich.

McDonald’s in Maryland periodically roll out a crab cake sandwich.  I can’t recall if I had one, but they do sell from what I’ve heard.  Of course the McDonald’s crab cake is probably around $4 and mostly filler, whereas a crab cake sandwich in a restaurant is likely to be at least $15.

So there’s your explanation for anyone buying anything from McDonald’s, it’s cheap with food science substituting for actual quality.  Probably the crab cake is pumped full of various crabby polyamines, monosodium glutamate and other flavor enhancing chemicals.

Dan also mentioned he's never been in such a long drive thru line at McDonalds.   He was getting anxious because he was afraid they would sell out before he got to the speaker to order.   IMO, that would have been a blessing.

I left the God damned headlights on in my car today, so my battery is deader than a door nail. I have this little portable Peak 900 amp jump charger, but it’s not working well either. So I’m going to have to beg a neighbor to give me a jumpstart in the morning.  I hate asking for favors.

9:30 on a Saturday morning and I'm sitting in my pajamas.

Covid has made everyone lazy.  There is no urgency to get up and do something when the state has restrictions in place.  Yes we can walk, or bike ride, but the weather is not always the best for that.  No gardening, no swimming pool.

Dan and I are waiting for the oldest to get up to go walk.  But when I was up at 2am getting a drink of water, I could see her light on upstairs and hear her talking.   

So, we sit here in our pajamas enjoying our coffee and tea. 

This vaccine better normalize things for Spring.

CJ owns a small business in danger of dying thanks to the plandemic. And it's far more important to spend time on than bullies on an internet forum. I have millions of things to do and way too many people to care for.

It's no big deal. Nothing will change. People will still be bullies and Shiela gets to take over as the life of the party. I just hope she'll be treated better by some people here.

So as soon as all the PM messages are done and all is well, CJ will be done. Didn't want to just vanish, wanted to say goodbye.

Completely wrong and petty to implicate Sheila in your decision to leave. Yes, you have been a very well thought of and active member as has Sheila but I for one don't think she wants to be treated.differently.
