Stopped by my favorite shop on my way into work and he (Ben) was there.  Got the you're really nice, not ready for a relationship, hope we can still be friends.... blah blah blah.

He doesn’t like animals dear.

Probably, but that's not where my mind went.  Age was the first thing, and then I became extremely self conscious of the 8 pounds I gained.  That's right, I jumped on the scale st work and I guess i was so upset about the 6 I had put on I decided to throw 2 more on top of it.  But I realized that only after I bought a double chocolate chip muffin and had that sucker down before I got into work

If he says he's not ready for a relationship, Shiela, he'd be too much trouble to train anyway. Then there's the "doesn't like animals" thing.

Anyway, you learned of a new place for coffee and treats.

Someone as sweet as you will be scooped up soon. :emot_kiss:

I accidentally lost a friend of mine I made on the site (mommykaren), and I miss them so much. I was having such a stressful day and I said something I regret, and I wish I could just say sorry to them again, but they seem to have deleted their email and their username. So now I have no opportunity to, this has ruined not just my day but almost my week I’ve have no other mothers to talk to about just what is going on and she related to me so much.

I found out today that someone very special to me actually passed away a year ago this July. I know this because I was in their will and for some reason it took this fucking long to inform me.

I don't care about what they left me, I want to know why it took a year to tell me they're dead. My heart is crushed right now.

Well that is just awful timing for you love.  Hopefully whatever it is that's upsetting her tummy sill pass soon.  I'm quite sure you know, but can't help say to keep her hydrated.

Was a bit chilly at first when we walked this morning. Walking warmed us up.  8)

I really don't feel like spending my first half mile warming up.

Good way to pull a muscle, especially if it is cold out.

Sandwiched between 3 wildfires. Air Quality Index over 400 (normal is under 50, extremely hazardous starts at 300). Over 900,000 acres scorched, including whole small towns.

More than 500,000 evacuated, including both my sisters, 40 and 80 miles to the north. We are currently at Evacuation Level 1, which means "Be aware of the situation and pay attention." Level Two means pack up and be ready. Level Three means "Get the hell out!"

Haven't seen so much ash floating in the air since Mt. St. Helens erupted forty years ago. The stench outside is overpowering.

Stay safe Purple.  It horrible what's happening out there. To think one of our own is in the middle of it makes it worse.  Glad  your sisters got out ok. Don't take any chances. Be ready to hit the road.

I was thinking of you when I watched the news and mentioned your area.
Stay safe.  And best to prepare by packing up photo albums and be ready to toss them in your trunk if needed.  I hope it does not come to that.

Wife's so is in for major surgery today... triple bypass. Wife got to go into hospital with him, but has to leave when he's taken into surgery.

We're to get two calls with reports during surgery and a final one when he's out. He's 56 and quite overweight, so cause for concern.

He discovered the heart problem a few months ago when he was to go in to be re-circumcised. Guess they did lousy job when he was an infant. Discovered heart problem when he got a pre-op physical.

It was most fortunate, as blocked arteries killed his dad at just 57...one year older than he is now.

I'm cooling my heels in a mall parking lot until wife calls me to come pick her up.

I had a quad at 56.  Best thing that ever happened for me.  These procedures have become fairly routine, with a very low rate of bad outcomes.  He won’t realize just how shitty he used to feel, until he doesn’t feel... odd that way.

I take it you meant to say your wife’s son?  Cause so could mean “significant other,” which is just awkward.  Sort of like getting recircumsized in your 50’s.  LOL.

Please let us know how things went.  You’re a saint.
