I'm Corona Distancing.   I let myself get overloaded with too much info the last 7 days and need to turn off CNN and MSNBC and really got bummed out yesterday with everything.  Mentally exhausted with it all.  I was allowing too much too often.  Back away Jules.

Festival foods opens at 6:00 am.  Dad tried to beat the rush and got there at 5:45 am still didn't get everything he needed.  Said it looked like black friday.  So much for social distancing.

That way in our town too.  The stores are now only open 8 am to 8 pm, to give them time to restock.  We’ve got enough food to get through the weekend.  I’ll try to shop again on Monday.

Actually, they had olives, gluten free pancake mix, and andouille sausage.  I’m living in my own episode of Food Network’s Chopped.

Nothing.   My fucking county doesn’t even have coronavirus test kits yet. No one is practicing social distancing. It’s very frustrating. At least the governor approved home delivery of alcoholic beverages. You can get margaritas delivered to your doorstep now.

So many people buying pasta and sauce.  I'm driving around in this warehouse on some weird forklift type thing and have to stack stuff that the store orders on a pallet on the back.  Boxes of pasta are heavy and there is so much of it.

And to top things off, I'm turning a corner and the stuff I stacked up on my pallet tips over.  Salsa, pasta sauce, soy sauce.... jars broken and stuff everywhere.

Seriously miss my old job, really hoping I get back soon.

Holy shit.  That’s awful.  I do industrial accidents.  A lot of pallet jack and forklift stuff. 

I am out of canned tomatoes, tomato sauce, and I only have 3 cans of tomato paste.  There has been none of these items or pasta on the store’s shelves for weeks.  Thank you for what you are doing.  There’s a lot of families that will go hungry if the food supply chain breaks.

As is, I'm not helping that cause by messing up and smashing jars.  Must have been 2 dozen jars of sauce all over the floor.  Felt so bad, was so embarrassed.  Didnt have much training either.  They said normally I would follow a worker for half a day watching him pick the order, then I would take over the second half.  Do that for two days then I'm on my own.  Since it's so busy, they couldn't spare the worker to train me so they had a supervisor follow me around showing me for first half of the day, then he gave me a walky talky and said if I need help to call for him.  Didn't call him as much as I had thought. The other people picking orders were pretty helpful.  This job is no joke, I'm going to be so sore tomorrow
