Hope you feel better soon.  I can't remember the last time I got that sick, so I cant imagine what it's like.  Really hope it passes soon.  :emot_kiss:

The kids are stressing me to the max. I just want to lock the door and crawl under the covers and hope everyone in this house leaves me alone.

The suction cups on the handle I have in my shower failed me this morning and I took a nasty spill.  Ankle hurts something fierce hoping its not a sprain  :facepalm:

Sorry to hear that, hope it feels better.  My ankle is flaring up just thinking about it.

In my 30s I lived briefly in an attic apartment where the tub was against a sloping roof, so there was no standing up.  There was a handheld shower thingy I used.  I discovered I preferred a bath over a shower and been doing that ever since, at least outside of my trailer or hotels that have shower only.  It sure makes it easier to wash my feet if I’m not hopping on one to wash the other.  And since I don’t hop, I have very little concern over falling, just getting in and out.  I’m not quite ready for the elderly shower chair, and doubt I’ll ever go that route.  Some say a bath is like marinating in your own filth, but that sounds ridiculously fastidious to me.

And while showering together is fun, a long bath together can be even better.  Just lay back against me and let me slowly suds you up.  I got a feeling you’re a really dirty girl.

One foot up showerhead down.  I dont often have sex dreams, but when I do I have to finish what my mind started.

Called into work and took a sick day, now if I could only get that RN that's taking care of my dad to come over.... finish what my mind started and my shower failed to finish

Rehab people recommend those damn things for my wife when she came home after hip replacement.

They just don't hold. I've warned, yet she keeps using them. Soon after she comes out of the bathroom, CRASH! One or both of the fucking things fall off into the tub.

I fear for her each time she showers.

I had a foot rest to at one point, it was just one huge suction cup, it didnt pop off, but when the wall got wet it would slide down.  You'd think something like that would be better at holding more body weight.  I was pulling on mine pretty hard at the time though....

You never can tell when they'll hold or not. Guess you're supposed to only have them up during use, and take them down when done.

Suction cups are not safe or recommended for showers. Grip bars need to be screwed through the tile and into the walls.
