OFFS.  The Youtube Recommendations continue.  Today, the subject du jour is how Bree Larson is ruining the MCU, Disney, and western civilization in general.  Not 1, but 3 videos on the assumption that I like to watch comic book movies, and therefore I must hate an actress, for playing the role she was cast in.

I don’t follow YouTube, Marvel, Disney, or western civilization in general, but even I have seen some rather virulent misogyny directed towards this actress.  Rotten Tomatoes actually shut down their rating page for the movie, because of the trolling hatefulness being spewed towards a female super hero.  Disgusting.

Disney most likely threatened them. Larson is a garbage Human being. She supported a fund raising effort to send "poor" little girls to see her movie. Pretty sure poor children need other things than movie tickets. That money goes right to Disney and her pockets. If she cared she'd have said take that money and donate it to a charity or school or something.

She's a racist, sexist, insufferable cunt.

No one wants to see the movie because of her, not because of a female superhero. After all, Alita: Battle Angel did pretty well and I'm pretty sure the main character wasn't a man. And none of it's stars opened their fat mouths to spew bullshit. Fuck, James Cameron gave a little girl new bionic arms and all Larson has done is tell a whole race and gender of people to go fuck themselves. Those same people being much of Marvel/Disney's profit base.

I'm sure it'll still make money and it'll get a sequel though so it doesn't matter.

I’ve also never paid to see a single super hero movie.  Primarily, I think that’s because most of the time I’m an adult.

But I’m marrying a girl that’s like a little kid, so I’m sure she will be dragging me to the theater for such things.

Even when I was a kid reading comics, I preferred scifi with aliens and such and found the super hero ones stupid.  That’s probably not going to win me any friends here is it?

I kinda figured some at least could be found, and admittedly I haven’t tried real hard yet.  8 1/2 is one I had keyed in on as I needed to see very soon.

Btw, while I am in the middle of a manic moment right now, I still got who you meant was off their meds and it wasn’t Psi. . . . . at that particular time.

Oh, and I sense we’re often on the same wavelength, especially were it comes to things like hot movie stars of the past.

I'm kinda reveling in the special effects extravaganza nature of them.  Don't get me wrong, Marvel's doing a lot with the characterization, and experimenting with the standard pacing, like the 3 act structure, and Hero's Journey to subvert them.  (Shane Black's Iron Man III being the best example.)  

But at the end of the day, I appreciate them the same way I do Snakes on a Plane, and Sharknado.

Okay, but first you set it up by having a meltdown about SJWs, then pick the recurring mantra about my "Meds" you've been using ever since RavishU, to set up for the punchline that I think everything is about me.

Like that hasn't been done before.  Yesterday.  For someone so surprised that I thought you were telling me to take my meds again.  You sure seemed to pull out every trick to make me think that, right down to playing the pronoun game.  

When was the last time you called Chirpy "Them?"  Besides that, you know exactly as much about my medication as you do Chirpy's.  "Hi, Doctor Nick!"
