White chest hairs.

Copious quantities of grey in the beard never really bothered me, but a couple in the thatch scream old at me.  I wonder how long before they colonise south of the border?

Know the feeling IB.  Mine started several years ago and most all grey there now. And yes...it's continued on down the body, another sign of my advancing years.  Watching the tufts of hair on my toes now...still dark!

Just remember what the alternative is to not showing signs of age. :emot_weird:

My beard has been grey (or white really) for nearly a decade, now hardly a dark hair at all present.  Yet for some reason I’m largely brown way downstairs.  I never really had much chest hair, but that’s also mostly white.

The weird thing I noticed many years ago is the white hairs grow twice as fast as the dark ones?  When I was young, I could barely grow a beard.  Now I can trim my beard short and blink and become Santa again.

Mark's grow fast too.     So, I wondered and soon googled to discover...........

I’m not one to pluck, but there are a few thick annoying white hairs in my eyebrows that drive me nuts.  I’m constantly carefully using scissors to cut them as close as possible, but they’re back in a matter of days.  I’m usually not fussy about my appearance, but like I said these hairs drive me crazy when I see them.

Discovering that many 55+ communities that the missus and I were interested in are really fucking stupid. The one that we can afford to buy in without having a mortgage insist that all parties living there be 55 or older. The missus turns 54 in a few days which means if we were wanting to buy in these communities, we would have to wait a year. And the pet restrictions! Don't get me started.

Our townhouse is for sale right now. If we sell, it is looking like we will need to live like hoboes for a bit - buy a travel trailer and live in an RV park for a bit.

On the bright side (?), if we don’t sell, we are no worse off. Still have a home and jobs. Just not where we really want to be living right now.

Woke up with a sore throat, by the time I got to work (about 10 hours ago), the voice was failing and I was feeling dizzy when I moved too fast.

Slow improvement over the day, but concentrating on my messages here and my emails has worn me out. Early night for me, I think.

Being really tired.  I get up at 5 most mornings, and am in to the office by 6:30.  Then I work until 7:30 or 8, go home for a few hours rest, then back at it.  It’s only Tuesday, but feels like Friday.

There was a tanker truck, full of fuel, that rolled over on the local interstate last month.  Apparently fuel is hell on asphalt, so they are closing one lane of the interstate for FIVE DAYS to patch this spot.  This stretch of road was already narrowed to only two lanes for construction, so we have ONE LANE open for five days.  My 30 minute commute has turned into an hour and a half long ordeal.  Ugh.
