Someone I love very much posted a Me Too.

R.I.P. Ruby, and sorry for your loss, Ms. Slave. Hope the other Bassett is not missing Ruby too much, or gets a new companion soon.

Some people are like the 'slinky'. Not really good for much,
but they bring a smile to your face as they fall down stairs.

Tickets in the nosebleed section (fourth deck near roof) for Trans-Siberian Orchestra?  $333.00.  Ridiculous!  I’m going to buy a concert DVD for $20 and watch at home.

Snow blower not working.  :(
Repair shop picked it up and are telling me 4 days.
My bf had to go out to the other side of the state to get his daughter who is now on xmas break from college.
I am leaving now to go shovel snow.    :'(   4 to 6 inches before it is done.
I am not looking forward to it.

The one I love suffered a horrendous blow. Her cat was injured and died yesterday.

I wanted to comfort her, but she doesn’t want to talk about it. I hurt for her.

So sad for you and your friend, Katie.  We just went through the loss of our friends Basset.  Wife and I had helped take care of her since she was just a pup.  Those critters do leave paw prints on our hearts.

Well trained and been made compliant....by my cat Neville

That's too bad.   Losing a pet is never easy.  Hopefully there are plenty of pictures of the kitty that she can look back at to remember the fun times they shared.

My ex mother-in-law called frantic that a con artist had called her claiming to be a lawyer who needed her credit card number to post bail for my son, her grandson.  He told her that he had been in an injury accident, and sent 3 people to the hospital.  A few phone calls by me confirmed 1. there was no accident, 2. there was no arrest, and 3. my son was at work blissfully unaware of anything.

You know how old women are.  Jeezus.  Gave me a scare too.  Be careful out there.

both of your posts in response to my post are horrible, insensitive, and extremely inappropriate, as well as in such bad taste as to be deserving being struck in the face.

You have stooped to a new low level of behavior.

Hardly.  But apologies.  No offense intended, and certainly nothing directed towards you,

The holiday party that wasn’t.

Set at 6 p.m. on a rainy Monday.

Thirty people.  No alcoholic drinks served.

He bought 6 appetizers, the had them cut into tiny pieces.  We were allowed a tiny paper plate to “help ourselves.”  Didn’t even put out chips and salsa.

The meal consisted of 8 entrees dissected the same way.  Everyone got three or four bites of something.

The event (I refuse to call it a party) was over by 8.  We had margaritas on a credit card, so hey, I should know.  We were the last to leave.

He did give all employees a small bag of pistachios.  No Christmas bonus check.  Even the asshole boss in the Vacation movie gave a jelly of the month club.  LOL.

Wow, that sucks.

Couldn't even spring for $50 worth of large pizzas?

I have no respect for greedy rich people. It's just chump change to him and it would make people feel good. Jackass!
