Yep, and my contract for the second job was not renewed for the New Year.  Not enough work right now to justify it they said.  I hope things pick up so I can go back to making enough to survive.

Better to take out a squirrel than something else. Waaaaay back in the day, I was car-pooling with a bunch of guys from work. Came to an intersection and saw a duck laying on the road with his neck broken. It was still alive. I didn't have time to properly finish the duck off properly so I drove over its head to take it out of its misery.  Boy did I not live that down for quite a while.

The only thing that has ruined my day recently was the Canadian U-20 Men's Hockey team losing twice to the Americans. But that's hockey.

Being the kind person I am by inviting a couple of my brother in laws friends over to watch the Lions game with him, and having them yelling and swearing at the television for the last 3 hours like a bunch of sore losers.

My sister and her wife stole my kids away to the mall and left me with nothing to snuggle. Except the dog. And the dog won't even leave the fireplace it's so fuckin' cold.  :roll:
