I must complain that CBS refused access to the AFC division championship last night, unless you had a cable television subscription. You could watch the game on your phone using the NFL app, but you could not cast it onto the television. I have the CBS app, CBS Sports app, ESPN, NFL, and a few others. And CBS is the only provider that refuses general access to NFL games. It wants you to buy a Paramount subscription. Which is ridiculously expensive. You can get it on Fubu for about 60 bucks a month. Nobody’s got time for that. Jesus Christ, these oligarchs make billions of dollars off us . I don’t understand why they can’t let us watch their game on the television.

I didn't know that, but that looks like the way things are going now. Plus huge increases in one's cable bills.

We had Hulu. Then we got a notification that since we we used TiVo to access our internet they were cutting us off on a certain date. And they did. I went to their web site and cancelled our subscription to make sure we still wouldn't be charged for what we could no longer access.

A couple weeks later I got an email from them that they missed me and would I please sign up again.

WTF! You were the one who kicked me off. Crazy bastards.

I have a digital antenna for when I don't want to bother with searching Netflix or prime, and I saw parts to both games. Dad was super happy to see San Fran lose.

As far as Ben goes. I have no doubt he's trying to rush a relationship, I just think he should do a little more searching. Find somebody better than her. I know him. I know how sweet he is, how family oriented he is, how funny he is, how big his dick is, and I know he deserves better. He's in his late 20's, and I think the closer he gets to 30, the more worried he gets he'll be alone. He's got a good job, good home, and has a lot to give to the right woman, just not her. She is far too immature, too impatient, too rude, too controling...  if my sister or any of my cousins... except lyndsey, were single, I wouldn't hesitate to introduce them. I'm going to keep being his friend, and have the occasion coffee with him.

If she keeps playing these games and "break up" with him, I have no problem fucking her "ex" even if they do get back together.

The fucking office is closed today. There is maybe 1/16 of an inch of ice on the road. No more than 1/8 of an inch. Absolutely ridiculous. I’ve been bitching about the remote working ne’er-do-wells at the office for quite some time. But things have slowly snowballed to the point that we are getting very little done, because no one is working. One worker had a nervous break down and just stopped coming to work. Another one had a baby, and claims to be remote working, but I see no evidence that she’s actually doing anything. A third employee lost her ex-husband (she shared custody of a child) and then her father had a massive stroke.

So all of this is affecting the bottom line. And I am cracking the whip, trying to keep the ship afloat. But now it seems that there is a backlash in progress against me personally. And it doesn’t have anything to do with my job performance (top producer three months in a row), it’s comments about my “bedside manner“ or “courtesy and professionalism.“ Because apparently, you can’t point out someone is taking a paycheck and doing nothing, without being some kind of massive ass hat in the 21st-century. I swear to fucking God it’s getting so crazy.

So I actually talked to a recruiter today. They are looking for a new job for me. There may not be a job in the 21st-century that I’m qualified to do, because apparently employment today consists solely of sucking cock and phoning it in long distance.

I was a sales person at a small radio station. The more I sold, the harder the on air people had to work instead of just playing music. So I got the blame for making them work so much. :facepalm:

As somebody with a permanent incurable medical condition, I feel severely guilty when I cant pull my weight around my work. Granted majority of my work is sitting outside in a playground watching dogs have fun and giving belly rubs, but I do have many responsibilities outside of the fun times.

FMLA is a key. If these people have problems they should be able to get this paperwork filled out and approved if it isnt approved, then they are just slacking and under performing.
