The local convenience store didn't have the milk that I use on my cereal in stock.  :emot_laughing:

That is probably the closest thing to ruining a day that I've had for the past 3 months.

That is all.

That is all.

That is all.

I went to a private school with a PA system that, on purpose, was heard all over the campus. An endless amount of calls "So and so, report to such and such." And sometimes the phrase "That is All" was added to these calls. One day, I decided to have a little fun and made my own announcement: "ATTENTION IN THE AREA. ATTENTION IN THE AREA. DUE TO A LACK OF INTEREST, TOMORROW HAS BEEN CANCELLED. THE DAY AFTER ISN'T LOOKING SO GOOD EITHER. THAT IS ALL!!"

Did your PA system have an auxiliary input? It might have been fun to make the announcement, and then play The Growing Concern's Tomorrow Has Been Cancelled, from their 1968 album. :)

I've been spending the last couple of days trying to troubleshoot a major problem with a couple of support guys.  After doing everything but sacrificing a virgin,  everything is working as it should - which should be good news. Unfortunately, even with 40 years of experience between us, nobody could figure out what was causing the break.

An unusual server problem almost ruined my day. Web pages began showing memory errors and I began to panic, having no clue as to what was causing the problem.

An email to the hosting company's support department did the trick. The support person increased the memory allocation on the affected site and all's well. But I still don't know why it happened.  ???

Learning I said something insulting to a friend without realizing at all at the time I was being insulting. Also reminded me of all the other times I've done or said something that was in hindsight very stupid. But it's like sometimes I can even be looking for something like my keys, literally be looking at them, and it doesn't register right away. I don't know if it is because my mind is always going, that there are times where there's too much information to process, and then my brain can overlook the most important things...  ???

I’m sorry to hear that CT…
I can understand how that would be like…
Hopefully, your friend knows that you didn’t mean it…
And that happens to everyone at some time. I myself, when was in elementary school, ate a bit of gardening soil, without even thinking as to how the heck would a piece of chocolate cake would even end up on my shirt; even when I had seen with my own eyes that the bit of soil had fallen from my own hand only, mere moments ago when I had touched the same in a flower pot. Lol, just realising that I told this story for the first time after all this time.

As for thread, due to unavoidable issues, 2nd dose vaccination got delayed and moments ago, nosebleed due scratching on the insides.

I filed for divorce today. The handwriting had been on the wall for a long time, but it just finally got to the point that going on doesn’t make sense. And she doesn’t want to work on things, or even acknowledge that there is a problem. And so it looks like I am going to go through that again. It’s been 17 years since my last one. But I promise you. I will never ever get married again. If you hear me even so much as *think* about it, you have permission to shoot me.

Any possibility of a dispute over the terms of the divorce?

We’re both older. No children. No dispute about who owns what. No debt. There’s really nothing to fight about. I told her she could have anything she wants. And she says she wants nothing. So we’ll see if that changes or not. But half of nothing is nothing. I really don’t have significant assets to quibble about.

So sorry to hear this love. I guess I could say at least you weren't blind sided by it, and hopefully things go smooth with little fighting.

Love you💋

Went out fishing today in the ocean.  Got sea sick overboard.  A first for me.  Still queasy.

Too much coffee on my belly and not enough food.  As I started feeling sick, I started eating Wheat Thins and other crackers.  All that did was added to the volume of vomit.

Still burpy.

Yuk

True,
Really sorry to hear that happened, hope you are feeling well now…
as for the biscuits adding fuel to the fire.
Tell me about it. Last year on birthday, had a great dinner at the best barbecue place in the city.
Accidentally a Shrimp made its way on to my plate. Allergies acted up.
On the ride home, everything, (which was A LOT) came straight back up as I puked my guts out,
For some moments, felt that it would not stop coming out.
felt like lukewarm packaged soup, salsa, and ketchup all rolled into one.

Mints can do wonder, though

Oh my god, is everybody trying to get me to get sick. Yes I know I don't have to read this, but I can't seem to stop myself either.

Is that like when someone makes gagging sounds, and then someone else can't help but start gagging because they hear the gagging sounds?  ;D

Well, Sheila, I won't try to make you sick. Imagine a chocolate mint milkshake that is just the right consistency for you to enjoy - slowly.

As for Toe, that news sucks but if the writing has been on the wall, you were at least prepared for it.

MJ, I could tell you a story of my own but I promised Sheila I wouldn't make her gag/be sick so I'll save it for another day. As an aside, you could have said you chummed the water  ;D Fell better young lady.

That is all.
