Been dealing with his shoulder for months after his surgery, and now this happened.  He's been laid up and it wasn't my fault :emot_kiss:

I had 11 cases set today. I won ten, then the very last bastard got a continuance. It’s like pitching 8.66 perfect innings, and the last batter gets a single on a bunt.

On those cases you won-did any of them involve discovery? I used to win appeals based on those. Police and prosecution are lazy.

No this was all debt collection for a bank. Pretty straightforward stuff. We have everything worked up with business record affidavits; my legal assistant pulls a pin and hands me a live grenade. But it’s nice to clear the docket.

My son celebrated another semester on the Dean’s Honor Roll last night, by going out of his gourd.  Woke up to find all the lights on, a mess in the kitchen, and my son, in bed where he blew chunks last night. So, I started the day cleaning up his vomity mess.  Proud of him.  Not the vomit, but 62 college credits completed with a 4.0 average.

Two very loud bangs woke me about 11:30 last night. Could hear people talking outside shortly after, but fell back asleep before I could see what was going on.

Saw neighbor this morning and she said someone tossed two explosive devices in their large garbage bin. By the time she got outside, neighbors were gathered and someone was putting out the fire the explosions caused. Garbage was just picked up yesterday. The plastic bin was burning.

What's strange is her bin was several feet off the alley due to the garage being built. My three bins are lined up right at the edge of the alley and more accessible. Go figure. ???

Me, I somehow woke up in a 'everything sucks' mood  >:( Head hurts, I slept wrong and my back hurts.. Weird, because I was just fine when I went to bed. Didn't party or anything, don't feel like I'm getting sick.. just tired and grumpy I guess.  :emot_sad:

Dont really want to bitch about it here, but is there anything worse than having an argument during or right after sex? We were enjoying ourselves, and I would gentle ask him if it was good, am I good, he knows I want him to say "good girl" but he just outright refuses to do it. Guess I made too many comments and he got upset. Says it's because he feels awkward because I'm older...

Why feel awkward? I'd love it if you said it.

Feels its disrespectful.

You choke me, slapped me, and have stuck it in my butt, but good girl feels awkward because I'm OLDER?  Grow up.

And now I'm sitting home having a god awful TGIF margarita in a can... and I mean awful. Calling and messaging friends venting.
