Don't be silly Sir.  I mean honestly who can blame you.  With everything that has been happening, a mass shooting, unfortunately, just fits in perfectly does it not?  I myself probably wouldn't have been as invested if I didn't directly know two people in the area.  I fear we have all become a little desensitized by all the violence, anger, lies, and death.

I've had a headache since getting up.   3 hours now.  Felt like a hangover at first, still does a bit.   Didn't have any alcohol yesterday and drank over 72 ounces of water.

Feeling fine, thank you for asking.  Slowly got better.  By 11am it was gone.


What made my day.  The headache disappearing and I finished putting up some Christmas decorations outside.   Then I raked the yard free of a bunch of twigs and branches from the woods nextdoor.   The windstorm last Sunday littered the yard.   Gave it one last cut with the mower.  Then put down the winter fertilizer.   My yard work is done for 2020.   Can't wait for April to come.

Same here. Ran the mower over the lawn one last time to pick up the leaves and run the gas out of the mower. Stored for the winter. Hope I don't have to use the snow blower this winter.  Didn't use it last winter.

I pay people to care for my lawn. It's leaf and dog poop free. I know because I have to pick up the poop. 

Pool is covered. Backyard paradise is closed till next year.

Never stand behind a dog that is getting on a treadmill for the first time.  They may get spooked so bad their anal glands "pop" and you may get hit in the leg with the fluid.  You may not need to be told this, but it smells quite bad.

It was training the dog to get used to one.  Ours is small and slow, and the owner wanted to train the dog for their treadmill at home for when the weather is bad.  Well when that thing popped and spattered my leg, the owner decided then and there, it was not going to happen in her home.  Too little too late.

Geese will do the same when chased so don't get too close to the back of one when chasing them. Did not know that about dogs. Dogs using treadmills instead of going outdoors for exercise?

When we were young, relatives owned farms and had big get togethers for the 4th of July, so being young and mischievous,  we would chase animals like pigs and geese. It wasn't long before we discovered geese had a defensive weapon that shot brown liquid out of their back sides. Of course, messing with the barn cats was no picnic either.

I got along with the barn cats fine, but once running around the barn itself I got clotheslined by the electric fence and received a burn line across my forehead.  I was about 5.

I deal with dog poop every day. I don't need to see pictures of it.

Ummmm... Watcher. As to Geese having defensive poop weapon.  Eagles can "shoot" their poop several feet. That helps keep their huge nests clean. That will also use that ability of someone/thing gets too close.

Canada geese are just shitting machines; they poop as fast as they eat.  I used to work in an office next to the Thames and the maintenance men were forever cleaning it off the public access paths.

My earliest memories of Canadian geese are on the golf course.   Daddy used to take my sister and I.  There were a few holes I would not play because of all the poop scattered across the fairway.  It may have influenced my young mind and is the reason I never liked to golf.

Daddy finally gave up with me and golf and he started teaching me to bowl.  I wasn't forced to golf for a few years.   During that time, the golf course trained dogs to chase the geese away.  My sister would always take treats when they went golfing.  And pretty soon the dogs were following her around like her own little posse.  We couldn't have pets because I was allergic to them.  So those were kind of sort of my sister pets from April to October.  She would even go visit them during the winter.
