Having a flare up and lost some motor control.  Explains why I was dropping things the last few days.  Now I'm having a spot of bother walking.  Left foot is heavy today. Its dragging and stepping heavy.  Itll pass, usually does after a few days.

:emot_kiss: Hope it passes quickly. Not fun.

It's been relatively quite around here for a week.  Was so nice, and the all of a sudden

Jerry Jeff Walker, the Texas troubadour who penned “Mr. Bojangles” in 1966, died yesterday.  He was a friend, a performer, an icon.  78.  He burned the candle at both ends, but leaves a big hole in a lot of hearts today.

The manager/friend of the store CJ worked at during the plandemic asked if I could help her out today. 2 employees didn't come to work.

"I know it's Saturday, and I know you want to spend it with your kids, but I'm begging!"

So CJ ran a register today. I got free Halloween candy and ice cold Pepsi I'm not allowed to have for my trouble.

Makes my day they are helping stop it.
Ruined my day the amount of garbage that could have ended up in the water.

Wow, that is a lot of garbage just tossed about.  I doubt we have nets big enough to do the same here in the States.

The amount of plastic out in the Pacific Ocean that is heading our way is measured in tons! The downside of our throw away society.

Not only did I freeze during my run, when I got back to my apartment, I apparently forgot about the one single step in the walkway from the parking lot.  Taking my earbuds out I tripped and in the least graceful manner possible I crashed loudly to the ground.  Smashed my knee on the pavement and somehow jammed my own elbow into my ribs.  Knocked the wind out of me a little. Of course the first thing I do is reach for my phone to make sure it wasn't broken

No worries, the phone is A-okay

Little limp in my step, but otherwise I'm ok

I've fallen (or been knocked down) about 7 or 8 times while running.   Each one a little more painful.  I never claimed to be graceful. ;)   Hoping no aches or pains develop over the next 12 hours.  The ribs though, ugh.  Hate when those get bruised.  They seem to never heal.

I don't run under 40 degrees.  So, to the basement I go.  Weights, but at least twice a week during the colder months I get on the elliptical.

Normally I don't go out running in the cold either, but I dont have any real workout equipment that actually does any good.  Normally I pack a bag and head to the gym, but with the covid rampaging around like it owns the joint, I've got no gym to go to.  My options are limited.

So far its isnt too bad, my knee hurts more than my ribs do at the moment, unless I laugh or take too deep of a breath.  Constantly squatting down so my knee is very sore.  No bruising to see, just a small little mark about the size of a dime.

Glad your phone is okay.... ;D ;D

Seriously, hope you feel better. The aches from a fall appear hours after. Now is the time for that hot shower...

We have one at work, but it's mainly for quick cleanups if needed.  I doubt I can convince my boss that the 20-30 minutes I spent in there was necessary.

Shiela, it sounds like you and Jules are engaging in some very dangerous jogging based on posts I read about such activities.

I hope you feel better.  Probably gonna be real sore tomorrow.

Wouldn't even be right to compare my trip and fall to being hit by a car.

Jules has to be mindful of idiots not paying attention dangerously operating several tons of machinery.  :emot_weird:

I need to be wary of unlevel terrain

What I know about ex-military is they must jog, but I wish you girls would refrain from putting yourselves in harm’s way like you’re still in the military.

I’ll give you a massage in the hot tub later.

James Bond dying.  Otherwise I’m fine.
