My wife is a restless sleeper.  She grunts, moans, and sleepwalks.  She snores, LOUDLY. She also has frequent myoclonic jerks.  Now, after years of sharing a bed, she’s taken to wandering all over the bed, and into the TOE ZONE.

I tend to lay down on my back, fold my arms, and fall asleep.  I may roll onto my left side once, but that is it.  I don’t snore (unless intoxicated) and I don’t move around.  I’m very still.  After all, I’m resting.

Last night you would have thought I was sleeping on a pile of acorns, and she was a feral hog.  I don’t think I fell asleep until 4 a.m.  At one point she had me pushed so far off the edge, I put my hand inside my elastic waistband, so my arm wouldn’t fall off the bed.  I got up and slept in a chair for a while, before turning on the lights and dragging her back to her side of the bed.  She doesn’t remember any of this.

It’s becoming a quality of life issue.  Fortunately, I found a solution.  Unfortunately, they want $29,000 for it.

Wife fell down in the house this morning. She needs to get back up on her own, so I felt so helpless as she struggled. Finally put a webbed belt on her and was able to lift some as she got her legs under her finally.

No broken bones this time, but she hit her head hard on the way down.

Two old people in a house alone. Getting more scary all the time.

Sorry to hear that, and yes it’s scary.

The week my first wife died, my mom came to stay with me.  During that stay I was just outside the front door and heard her yell followed by bumping sounds and knew she had fallen down the stairs.  I remember thinking ‘this is too much’ before racing inside to check on her.  We ended up in the ER but thankfully it was just some bad bruising and no broken bones.

I’m told I snore worse when drinking, the primary reason I get told not to drink too much.

She doesn’t snore very loud but occasionally cries in her sleep from a bad dream and has laughed in her sleep too.  I wake her if it’s crying and laugh along with her if it’s laughing, hey, it’s funny.

As far as invading space, that’s more me.  But I’m not asleep when I do that.

Dan snores. I'll smother him in his sleep some day, I just know it.

For the 4th time this year, I am sick.  On the tail end of it, but it was the worst yet.
24 hours stomach flu started 7pm on Monday.  Had my head in the toilet every hour up until 3 am.  Violent throwing up.  Not pretty.

Since then I have eaten 1-1/2 bananas and a can of healthy choice soup.  And 2 - 28 oz Gatorades diluted with water.
The soup I at an hour ago has my stomach doing back flips.

Well, after 18 years of marriage the Mrs says she is wanting to move on and try new things in her life. So it seems I will be taking the photos of her down today. I guess I saw it coming just didn't want to recognize it.  :'(

Well at least she was honest.  My ex waited until I was out of town on business, and cleaned out the house.  Get a good lawyer.

I have already contacted one that defended me on a trumped up paternity suit a couple years back. He was just as shocked as I was but is already getting the letter ready.

Our Jules...sick again

I know you like losing the weight, but if you end up all skinny and boney, you'll poke a hole in the hot tub.

Please, get well soon dear. Hate thinking about our girl not feeling good. :emot_kiss:

Doing better.  My tummy still doing back flips.

I had some sushi on Monday at noon.   I got sick at 7:00 (49 hours ago).  Since then I have eaten 1-1/2 bananas.  1 can of Healthy Choice soup. A handful of Oyster crackers.  And 15 minutes ago I ate 1 cup of noodles.   And I'm really haven't been hungry at all.
Water and gatorade for electrolytes.

Thank you for your concern MS.   :-*

Feeling almost back to normal.   Stomach still a little topsy turvey.  Eating cautiously.  Thanks everyone.

Beware of being caught in the hot tub when you have the wrong plumbing, by the Sheriff and her posse.  ;D ;D
