Actually, fish might understand me better than most people. 


Last night I dreamed I was a race car driver.  And lots of air-born jumps.  Like super high in the air that there is no way the car doesn't crash to bits in real life, but it never does in my dream.

Wednesday night I dreamed I was in total darkness.  A void. No sounds, no light, no vibration, no tactile sensation of any type. My tinnitus even stopped ringing. I briefly questioned if I was dead, or just in some sort of suspended animation. My thoughts were blank also. No inner dialogue. So, I just laid back and enjoyed the sound of silence.  Eventually I woke up. But that was weird.

That brings up a point. Would you realize you  have died? can the brain function beyond death? Deep and hope I never find out.

I have flatlined on the table in two different hospitals, on two different occasions. Code blue, CPR, crash cart, bagging, the whole bit. And to me, the dead guy on the table, nothing. No walking to the lights, no pearly gates. I don’t have any rational reason to believe in an afterlife.

I experienced something similar a few months back, and I still think of it.  A dream where I was floating in space. Complete blackness. Couldn't even see my hand in front of my face.  But I knew where I was.  Space.  And complete silence.

That brings up a point. Would you realize you  have died? can the brain function beyond death?

Stacy, I've always believed that whatever I am thinking of at the moment of death, will be my thought for eternity, one long thought.  And when that time does come for me, I will be thinking of fishing with my sister and dad, a few months before my sister passed away.  One of the happiest moments of my life, just the three of us laughing and enjoying beer while fishing.

I dreamt of anal sex! I wasn't getting it, but I was looking for it. Several opportunities arose, but I wasnt aloud any of it. I needed the right one from the right one. Allan wasn't gonna do it, but he needed to approve whoever was going to do it. Nobody was meeting his standards.

I've been fishing in my dreams.  And they always spit the hook before getting in the boat.  And another dream of ice fishing where the fish wouldn't fit through the hole.

Riding my electric bike.  I left it outside the dentists office and when I came outside it was gone.  I woke up in a panic. 

Other dreams have been me golfing.  I hate golfing. But I hit them long and straight in my dreams.  And I am a great putter. 

I did have a dream last week I was topless sunbathing on a beach and my neighbor showed up.

I’ve been dreaming about a Ukrainian woman I know named Ira. She works with our relief organization. She is very tall. Muscular. Busty. Not really my type. But she was been flirting with me IRL. Finally!!

It was all over the place, and constantly changed what was going on. Following friends in cars, then ending up at a carwash with a concert going on, and ended up in this large industrial area with a mansion in the middle. It was this huge paintball competition, and I was using my weapons from the military, but I could also see all this floating weird stuff like what you would see on a video game. Score, health, and a bunch of random numbers that were supposed to mean something.

Anyways, we're all shooting and laughing, and I was winning. Suddenly Allan comes up next to me, grabs me by the arm, and leads me off to the winner's area.

"You're gonna love this" *these words are still loud in my ears, and are still getting me hot.

He led me to a huge patio on the side of this mansion, and to a bed right on the edge. Ben was sprawled out naked on the bed hard as ever. Now I'm naked, Allan's naked and hard, and so are two other guys, one I recognized, one I did not. I climbed into bed, and started going down on Ben. I had barely started when I was taken from behind by Allan. The other two were watching and masturbating waiting their turn. I was thrilled by this. I always wanted to try it, and it was happening.

I heard cheering, and that's when I noticed my friends, and a bunch of people walking by the patio watching, and cheering me on. I was getting so turned on, and then I woke up. Boo!

It was 4 in the morning, and I had a flash of anger at waking up, but that lasted a second. I went and grabbed my shower buddy and with the memory in my head, I abused that rubber dick. From both the BCBSofMI office, and the family business.  Don't remember a lot from them, but I'm interacting with my former colleagues. People I had long forgotten about. So strange.

People I worked with 20 years ago, or were in college with 40 years ago. Always strange to dream vividly about people you haven’t thought of in ages. The brain is a very strange thing.

I have recurring nightmares about examinations and commutes.

I dream of being late, or unprepared, for college exams. Likewise of getting lost on a commute to work. Not being able to make train transfers, not knowing where I'm going, being late for work.

Neither of the above ever happened to me in real life, yet the residual stress remains.

Long-lost friends appear maybe once or twice a year, and when they do, I wake up with a smile on my face.
