MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Hackers stole $2.3 million from the Wisconsin Republican Party’s account that was being used to help reelect President Donald Trump in the key battleground state, the party’s chairman told The Associated Press on Thursday.

Difference here is that the 2.3 million was just being wasted anyways, so really nothing of importance was lost

$2.3 million is just a drop in the bucket of what Trump has stolen from tax payers to fund his campaign.

And really, how does one hack and steal $2.3 million?  If real, has to be some blatant incompetence behind it.

I’m not gonna wish ill on the guy. I’ll be happy if he just participates in the peaceful transfer of power. But you know he’s going to shit on everything, make an ass out of himself, make 40% of the country go crazy with conspiracy theories, and refuse to go to the inauguration.  So yeah, slap him for tax evasion, confiscate his remaining properties, and let him go live his life out in exile. Melania is going to leave him, so maybe he can finally start fucking that daughter of which he is so fond.

Ya know, I think he would have won if he hadn't acted the way he did.  He was his own worst enemy for the past month and more.   I watched a lot of his rallies along with President Biden's.  His behavior was not 'Presidential'.  I think it turned people off.   And to your comment, yes, I think he's about to turn crazy up a few notches over the next couple of months.

I wouldn't be surprised if his exit involves US Marshalls and handcuffs. He is by far the most un-presidential president in my lifetime.

I’m recommending they have a quilting bee.  Take all those Trump flags, add in the confederate flags, and get to sewing.  They can donate the quilts to those made homeless by Trump’s inept COVID response and the Republican’s lack of a stimulus package to help those people.

A friend of mine shared this.  I think there is something here to consider.  This goes to the heart of it was Trump‘s character not the Republican policies that may have cost Trump the election, while the rest of the Republican Party had a pretty good night (to say the least):

“A few other reasons to note for those worried that Trump's indecency had no effect? Consider the Pocahontas joke: Apache, Navajo and Coconino counties cast 74,000 votes for Biden to 2,000 for Trump in AZ. Add that to the McCain attacks, and it's bye Arizona. Bye Nevada. And the John Lewis attacks. Bye Georgia. Being a jerk was the margin of defeat.”

I think your friend has got if right ...coupled with the 5 year-old language he used in many of his tweets, one wondered at times whether he ever thought before he jumped..at times his comments received a WTF reaction from mature adults'.

Out of all the voting numbers we've seen in the last week, the one I find the most telling is what voters in Washington DC decided. President-elect Biden was the candidate chosen by 95% of DC residents.

Keep in mind that the vast majority of government officials are from elsewhere, and they vote in their home districts, and not in Washington DC. The votes cast there are chiefly from the "real" residents.

On top of that, Washington DC residents have only had the right to vote in presidential elections since the 23rd Amendment was passed on March 29, 1961. And Washington defied the nation in the two massive landslide elections of the modern era. In 1972, Nixon won the electoral vote 520-17, and three of McGovern's 17 votes came from Washington. In 1984, Reagan crushed Mondale 525-13, and three of Mondale's votes came from Washington.

In the past three elections, the Democratic candidate won Washington DC with 91-92% of the vote, and this year, Biden won with the biggest margin in Washington's presidential voting history -- a whopping 95% of the vote. A lot of that is due to the fact that there has been a growing statehood movement for Washington over the past 15-20 years, and the movement has been increasing. If Washington DC were to become a state, that would mean an additional two Democrats in the Senate, and two more Democrats in the House. The Republicans, understandably, have opposed this movement. And last week the voters of Washington flexed their muscles.

Puerto Rico just had another referendum on statehood.  Unfortunately the opposition refused to participate.

Imagine 2 additional states and 4 additional Democrat senators.

I think a big factor in the Georgia election was automatic Voter Registration.

Quote
Georgia has hit a new record high registration level. As of October 6, Georgia had 7,587,625 registered voters throughout the state. Over 5 million of those came through automatic registration at the Department of Driver Services, a program of the Office of the Secretary to make registering new voters and updating voter information simple and easy.
