Yes, it would be astonishing if he told the truth.  But if his French Cemetery excuse is a lie, it’s a well thought out plausible lie that seems beyond his own abilities.  Maybe someone on his staff anticipated the negative reaction to the cancellation and prepped him?

Imagine that, the Secret Service not broadcasting possible weak points in the Presidential Protective Detail.  Almost as if they expect to have to do their jobs.

Kinda makes you wonder why they're called the Secret Service.  What's really fucked up, is they probably have to keep such details, as they don't want going directly to Twitter, secret from the President they're sworn to protect.
