So, Jed_, are you pleased that Democrats voted in favor of this legislation? Seems some Democrats overwhelmed their "leaders" instructions, thus we have bipartisan legislation, or at least a bipartisan Congressional vote for the Bill.
President Trump promised, I believe in New Hampshire, to deliver on this issue and I am pleased most all politicians sought to help him make it happen. As to statements made prior to the final vote, on whatever side of the aisle, people did the right thing, and we all are rewarded for their actions.
Promises Made, Promises Kept.
Good that sooner or later, politicians of all stripes find a way to do the right thing, what those who have voted for them expressed as the right thing. The Washington Post reported the bill signing, eventually, in a narrow column near the middle of the A Section this morning.
Transgender speculation about what unspecified folks might have to say at some future date took precedence, of course, and inactive bomb looking mail and deliveries consumed the first few pages for a change. The last time we had political terrorism in package delivery... can you recall when that may have been or what page the Post coverage fell upon?
Was only weeks ago...
