  No idea about the details, valid or whatever, and I support President Trump. No one voted for Steve Bannon.

That said, hate to see some feed the media beast. This writer had no business being inside the White House other than on a Senate arranged tour.

It’s hard to say how factual this is given the author’s limited access.  But many of he accounts are believable in the sense of the environment inside the WhiteHouse rather than the actual details.

I don’t believe Trump is illiterate as has been recently speculated upon.  His tweets are proof he has some limited ability to write.  However I have no doubt his lack of attention span makes him incapable of reading anything any more.

I agree with your comments, however, I've more often heard him described as semi-literate, or functionally illiterate -- describing someone who has very limited reading and writing abilities, which certainly appears to be the case.

I have a friend who is brilliant.  He seemed knowledgeable about everything and always got very good grades.  One day he revealed to me that he'd never read a book cover to cover.  He simply could not focus long enough.  So he used the index and just read the portions that interested him.

I suspect Trump is similar, and age has diminished his capacity from what it once was.  When Your brains are top notch you can fake it for a long time.  This was Trump.

Thank you for your response.  I thought you would support Breitbart, but was not sure if that extended to Bannon.

That said, this writer was allowed to be in the White House by Trump himself.  He was open about the fact he wanted to write a book.  Trump lost interest because Trump does not read books.

I suspect the book is a fairly accurate portrait of what is going on in the White House.  There are plenty of other sources that back up what he has written.  If I were you I would take note so that you will not get fooled again.

  So, who was the last Republican President you considered an intellectual, or a voracious reader, with great understanding of the material he digested?

  George W. Bush read 95 books while in office, or maybe just his first term, and I expect you considered him less than intellectual, less learned, competent and so forth, when you compared him to AlGore, for instance... or enlighten me, should I be thinking your politics may influence your respect for people in such high office.

I know it is self-evident that Trump has issues.  He is full of bluster and I suspect that is all there is to him.  The emperor has no clothes.
