Please NAME ONE Russian who benefited in some manner from Trump during the Primary or General Election period in 2015 and 2016.  Thank you.

Oh, please include a list of the names of Clinton associates and campaign staff who communicated with Russians during the same time period.

For this purpose WikiLeaks does not count... we already know Clinton folks were chatting them up regularly, and one paid with his life, seems.

Arkancide.

This great, Joan; absolutely great. I'm surprised, but also, obviously, very pleased that you have joined in the calls for a complete and detailed investigation so that these (and numerous other) questions can be answered. Obviously, only after the appointment of an independent special prosecutor, complete with subpoena power, will we have the means to probe these questions. Don't fret; it's coming. If Trump has done anything with this strange move to boot Comey, it's that he will end up launching the investigation into high gear. I suspect we'll have a pretty clear picture before too long.

Flynn might be the key. From reading the tea leaves, I'm pretty sure they have enough on Flynn to file criminal charges. If he was operating under instructions from Trump or the campaign, I'll bet he cuts a deal to avoid jail time.

But I doubt it will ultimately matter. Trump and his people had so many contacts with Russian operatives at various levels in the campaign organization, the cabinet, his family and friends, I don't think it's going to be hard to find a thread to pull. It's not like Trump has been careful to cover up his tracks. He's actually about as obvious as you could imagine. Later, years  from now, I'm sure we'll all get a good chuckle out of how seriously he messed things up for a while, given that he's really just a complete train wreck of a politico. I mean, not only is he in Putin's pocket, he's dumb enough to talk up Putin like he's the best thing since sliced bread -- at the same time the Russians are interfering on his behalf.

Could you possibly be more obvious?

While Trump has continued to withhold -- against his campaign promises -- his tax records, he won't be able to keep that information private if ordered to turn it over to a special prosecutor. That may be all it takes to start bringing down the house. Are most of the last half dozen real estate projects funded with Russian money? Did Trump lie about it during the campaign? I'm sure you can see it play out in your mind too. I'll bet the tumble down goes a lot faster than the climb up lasted.

If you've got some savings stashed, Joan, I think you might have an opportunity to make a few bucks.

not one name, eh NW?  Fake News reports ginning up higher ratings, insinuation on insinuation, carping about all the things we missed the past 8 years, Special Prosecutors, Special Commissions, etc. etc. anything that will last  long and complicate life prior to the Midterm elections.

Not one Democrat called for a Special Prosecutor for the Hillary mess, the IRS mess, the Bengazi mess, the Fast & Furious mess, fill in the blank messes over the past eight years... none... funny how that works out. Not a peep...

Sarah Palin may make a good FBI Director... or Special Prosecutor, either one.

We shall see...

Maybe Lindsay Graham... would get him out of the Senate, at least... same for Susan Collins, John McCain, Jeff Flake, lots of RINO names come to mind to fill such a post, and am sure each would give it their all...

Careful what you wish for...

Midterms? Boy are you an optimist. The smart money thinks Trump will be long gone by then.

still not one name... not one 'charge' even... insinuation on insinuation...

No Probable Cause for anything, not for a Special Prosecutor, nada...
------------
President Pence will do just fine, should Donald get tired of all this, hate to see that as it would likely be Pence/Ryan to fill out the term, but is one way to get Ryan out of the way in the House, and move toward a Conservative, rational, more positive governing there.

Ryan is just in the 'next man up', line of succession, so would be logical to see him fill the void, should Donald decide to go make money instead of bang his head on the wall, will see.

On the other hand, behind Trump was Cruz in the 2016 Primary, Pence/Cruz could be an interesting ticket for 7 years, then Cruz could go to SCOTUS, or run for his own two terms... only time will tell.

Careful what you wish for...

A special prosecutor is needed only when there is a possibility of undue influence or conflict of interest in the investigation. An independent prosecutor is not automatic.

This instance there is a possibility of executive interference, and a conflict of interest with the Attorney General, and the firing of the head of the investigating department.

You need to stop being naive and trolling in such a clueless and stupid manner.

If Trump keeps firing people for investigating a possible Russian connection then I can see no choice but to appoint a special prosecutor.

LOLOLOLOL! I'd love to see Clinton appointed.  I'm sure he'd love to dish out some Ken Starr of his own on some GOP ass.

But naw, not really a good idea.  We need someone more professional than Ken Starr and I fear either of the Clintons would not be able to restrain themselves.  I certainly fear that I could not.

So what is that stain on Ivanka's dress Mr. President?

Ms. Katiebee, you know that if the NYT reports President Trump used Russian Dressing on his Salad, you and your crazy bunch would demand prosecution.

Find one Russian who benefited, or one unlawful act by the President, before we spend any more money on this "make everyone forget Hillary's emails cost her the election" witch hunt, please.  NO PROBABLE CAUSE so far, nada...

Hillary lost because she only won 57 Counties, out of 3141 Counties that make up the United States of America, because "people don't like or trust her much".

Look within, and think about "how could you have nominated such a putz"?

Get it better next time.

Simple as that, actually.

You really don't get it do you.

Russia is not our friend. They have been an authoritarian state for 100 years. They are our enemy, and trump has spent the last three years praising the leader of Russia. He LOVES authoritarian strongmen, he wants to be one too!

Trump thinks someone died and made him king, and he is very upset that no one sees that.

So if Cruz had beat Hillary, what would it be then... Cuba?

If Jeb had not imploded early, you would be worried about him in some irrational way as well. What a bullet we dodged there, eh?  Imagine the speeches in Spanglish, and more kale in school cafeterias than would choke a horse... with W dropping by the WH and mumbling something to the Press.

Phew...
----------------

If anyone proved that it is difficult to unseat a U.S. President, was Barry Obama and he went untouched for 8 years, and is still at it, still untouched, still no info known about his school grades, few if any who admit to every seeing him at the colleges he claims, and no interest by the Media or Democrats whatsoever.

His own Autobiographies (2 at least) claiming foreign birth, and all efforts are done by the Press and Democrats to obfuscate, nay claim racist, anyone who notices such inconvenient truths... yet your ilk rests it's hat on Trump hiring some Russian hookers to pee on the bed Michelle and Barry slept in, years ago.

All done with a straight face.

And if he had? So what? Well, sputter, sputter...

Hahahahaha! Name a Russian who benefited?  Not really the point dear.  The question is if Trump benefited from Russian actions and if his campaign colluded with them. How much Russian money has he received?  We won't know until a Special Prosecutor is appointed and reviews his financials, including his tax returns.

Rather than worrying about the people here who think Trump is a complete disaster, Joan, I'd be concerned about the core supporters who are finally showing signs of abandoning him. Perhaps passing a health care bill that will decimate his supporters, followed up by sparking a Constitutional crisis to hide his past actions from scrutiny wasn't the best way to cap off his most recent month. Emphasis below mine.

Poll: Trump's approval rating slips to 36 percent

President Trump's approval rating has reached near-record lows, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday.

The survey of registered voters found that 36 percent say they approve of Trump's job performance, compared to 58 percent who disapprove. Trump's approval has fallen from the 40 percent recorded in the same poll released in mid-April.

"There is no way to spin or sugarcoat these sagging numbers," said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll. "[These] are red flags that the administration simply can't brush away."

Trump's favorability ratings slipped among some demographics that carried him to victory in the 2016 presidential election against Hillary Clinton, including white voters without college degrees, white men and independent voters.

Trump's approval rating is near its lowest mark since he took office, which was 35 points in early April, according to Quinnipiac.

Gallup said last month that Trump’s average approval rating was the lowest since it began presidential approval surveys in 1953. According to Gallup, the average approval of presidents is 61 percent.

According to Quinnipiac's poll, Trump's biggest drop in support this month was from white voters who didn't go to college. Just 47 percent now approve of Trump's administration, compared with 57 percent in April.

Among voters surveyed, 58 percent said Trump's first 100 days in office have been "mainly a failure," compared with just 38 percent who say it has been successful.

Other findings in the survey centered on Trump's treatment of the media and vice versa. The poll found that 58 percent of the voters polled do not approve of the job the news media has done covering Trump's White House. But a majority, 65 percent, also disapproved of Trump's treatment of the press.

Quinnipiac's poll was conducted from May 4 to 9 and surveyed 1,078 voters. The poll has a margin of error of 3 percentage points.

Anyone notice the other side of the argument's defense hasn't posted one source to back up their batshit claims?  It's all hyperbole.

Well, "the other side" almost never posts sources (other than Breitbart) to back up their claims, so I suppose this is no different from any other issue "the other side" decides to comment on.

And you're right about the "batshit" part. The most recent posts made by "the other side" have been almost completely incomprehensible to me. I mean, a post about a House vote to overturn the ACA consisting, in it's entirety, a racist rant about Treyvon Martin receiving a posthumous honorary degree from an obscure Florida college?

As kids today like to say, wtf?!?

#ignore
