British spies were first to spot Trump team's links with Russia

So, should these allegations prove true, Trump will have to reconcile the likely defense, "I didn't know what they were doing, it's not my fault." With the image he tries to project that he is in charge, is fully compentent in ALL things and has everything under his control because he can fix things that are broken.

Only one of those can be true.

Damned if he is, damned if he isn't.

Or more accurately, hoist upon his own petard.

I suppose Trump must take his triumphs where he finds them.

He is the first president to have started with an approval rating in the 40% range and never to have risen above it, from day one of his administration.

And he is likely the first and only president to fail to meet his own low standards.

So why didn't Trump release his tax returns?

1. He is not as rich as he claims to be.
2. He is hiding that he pays no taxes (or very little).
3. He is hiding is financial entanglements with Russia.

Just one of the above?  Or all of the above?

After his numerous bankruptcies American banks would not loan him any more money.  I wonder where he's getting his loans now?  Deutsche Bank certainly, and maybe some Russian ones.

Easter celebrations in Nice, France were relatively trouble free.
A good thing.

Police and soldiers converged around the Saint-Pierre d’Arene church and tried to calmly overpower the intruder Sunday. A man in camo dress, holding what is reported as a large sausage, resisted attempts to remove him from the Mass, at one point putting on ski gloves, and was finally removed, announcement made of all clear by the local authorities.  This church is near the area of Nice where a truck ran down citizens recently.

Identified by local news there only as "Muhamed", no reference was made as to the trespasser's criminal history, immigration status or any religious beliefs.

President Trump and First Lady Millania Trump are enjoying the annual Easter Egg Roll today at the White House, with 'very competitive and wonderful' children, per the President's announcement. The crowd for this event was described as "Huge".

Historical White House Easter Egg Hunt games and events, including egg coloring, are planned in this, the First Lady's first, planned event.

Both Congressmen continue to hold the Chairmanship of their House Committees.

Announcing of not planning reelection in 2018 is very different than "stepping aside", in the case of Chairman Chaffetz.

Not wanting to distract from the serious examination of ALL involved in illegal acts regarding the Trump/Clinton election, and the Obama/Trump transition, with Russia or with whoever, wherever the chips fall, is Chairman Nunes goal, as you know.

Having the issue, and dragging it out as long as possible, is the Democrat goal.
