the point is that he implied something else, and as a result created an international incident. Sweden is not pleased that Trump can't use facts in a "rsoinsibke mannet". That was a statement by the Swedish Prime Minister.

I, for one, expect a higher standard of behavior for the POTUS.

The Swedish government point to crime statistics dating from 2015 when the influx of immigrants surged. The report shows no significant increases in crime from that group and no significant surge in reported crimes.

While reading the above it dawned on me:  Donald Trump has never had a job in his entire life until now.  He's never been accountable to anyone, he's never had to meet a deadline, he's never had to face a work evaluation.

Is it any wonder the White House is in disarray?

We've seen this before from O'Keefe, Project Veritas, and the Clinton Cash film.  Editing is a powerful tool, and it can make things see other than they are.  Want to make a film or video to hurt those you disagree with?  Editing can make it look like those you don't like eat babies.  It's a slicker way of lying, but it is still a lie.

The power of the Voice of America was that it never lied.  People knew and respected this. The same could not be said of Russian and NAZI broadcasts.  My message to Joan and her cohorts:  Don't go down that road unless you want to be despised and ultimately fail.

And again:

If you have to lie to prove your point, you don't have much of a point.

It worries me when I read comments like this, Katiebee. I think it would be very easy to underestimate the threat which Trump presents. Hitler, by way of comparison, was called "The silly little corporal from Austria" and was considered to be a joke. By comparison, Trump is a captain of industry who has already conquered worlds (it's all in the point of view).

Trump has shown a remarkable ability to mobilize an army of people who lack the ability to develop a personal vision, but who have shown that they will blindly follow a leader who pushes the right emotional buttons. As a fascist leader, who innately understands how to attract and motivate the disgruntled hoards, I would argue that Trump is completely in the camp with Hitler and Mussolini.

I believe Trump represents an extraordinary danger to the nation, most particularly if we fail to take him seriously:
