Watchdog group urges probe of Ivanka Trump tax break role

The complaint from the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington follows an Associated Press investigation last month. The AP found that Trump and her husband Jared Kushner, both White House advisers, could benefit from the Opportunity Zones program they pushed that offers tax breaks to developers who invest in downtrodden communities.

AP reported Kushner owns a $25 million to $50 million non-management stake in Cadre, a real estate investment firm which has announced plans to invest in several cities under the Opportunity Zones program. Separately, the couple has interests in at least 13 properties held by Kushner’s family firm that may qualify for the tax breaks because they are in Opportunity Zones in New Jersey, New York and Maryland.

The CREW complaint says that, under federal law, Kushner’s financial interests are considered of value to Ivanka Trump as well.

I can’t decide if I want to watch the orange clown tonight rant about his imaginary crisis or not?  Typically, I just watch the highlights on the news after.  However and despite this being news (because a lying president is news), I don’t think the networks should air it live.  They should fact check it after and explain that the shear level of falsehoods being propagated prior and that these falsehoods will obviously be the content is why it wasn’t broadcasted live.

Maybe a live commentary in the lower corner fact checking real time LOL?

Doesn't Blackwater only hire "The best" from Black Ops special forces military?  Doesn't Blackwater train it's members in Torture techniques, or did they just pick those up on the job in the Middle East?

Im worried. There's been lots of jet fighters & transport planes in the skies over Tucson, and they are not the kinds that are normally stationed here.  It could be just a military excersize, but ...

Meanwhile, in Nogales the military has just purchased the largest parking lot there for well over $1 million.  Now there's 300 less spaces.  This means seeing my dentist has suddenly become much harder.  No doubt I'll have to walk much further to get there.

I just listened to Trump’s address.

I am so thoroughly disgusted with his cherry picking of facts, his blatant and hypocritical appeal to fear. He sounded totally like the authoritarians he so admires. He DID NOT make a case for his stupid and wasteful wall.
