Please leave EPA's Scott Pruitt alone, he's trying to kill seagulls

Fellow Americans, please stop bothering Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt. He’s trying to kill seagulls.

They’re loud and obnoxious and known to selfishly absorb the precious crude oil our nation’s oil companies graciously donate from time to time to ensure proper American shoreline viscosity.

Pruitt should be allowed to tend to the eradication of these winged petroleum sponges, but instead, people are criticizing the EPA head for spending taxpayer money on perfectly reasonable things.

Like a $43,000 soundproof privacy booth in his office that allows him to make secure phone calls. Only a radical leftist unfamiliar with the seagull community’s long history of surveillance and espionage would question such a purchase. How else could Pruitt plan to loosen offshore drilling regulations without risk of avian antifa interference?

It’s a ridiculous distraction. And people really need to knock it off, because Pruitt is trying hard to expand the usable space in our rivers and wetlands by eliminating fish.

Fish, as most reasonable people will agree, are gross and for too long have hogged the aquatic real estate in our nation’s waterways. We’ve waited patiently for them to develop feet and lungs and join the rest of us, but it’s clear they’re too lazy to lift themselves up by the fin-straps and evolve.

So Pruitt has taken the only reasonable step and weakened the Clean Water Act by putting himself in charge of all decisions relating to the preservation of rivers and wetlands. Before, decisions about things like the appropriate levels of chemicals allowed in waterways were made by regional EPA offices, which are known hotbeds of “scientists” and other fish coddlers.

Now Pruitt calls the shots, but how is he supposed to have time to give our rivers more fish-free Jet Ski space when he has to worry about people questioning the roughly $3 million he has spent on an around-the-clock security detail?

Anti-capitalism moss-snugglers are making a big to-do just because Pruitt has, according to the notoriously pro-fish Associated Press, “a 20-member full-time detail that is more than three times the size of his predecessor’s part-time security contingent.”

That news service continued to whine that “multiple EPA security agents accompanied Pruitt on a family vacation to California that featured a day at Disneyland and a New Year’s Day football game where his home state Oklahoma Sooners were playing in the Rose Bowl. Multiple agents also accompanied Pruitt to a baseball game at the University of Kentucky and at his house outside Tulsa, during which no official EPA events were scheduled.”

What a disgraceful witch hunt. You don’t have to be a so-called “journalist” to figure out that it’s called the Environmental PROTECTION Agency for a reason. As head of that agency, Pruitt must be PROTECTED so he can properly deal with the environment.

That’s why he traveled to Morocco last year (in first class, of course, because coach offers zero protection) with staff members and security, spending $40,000 in taxpayer money, $17,000 of it on Pruitt’s ticket alone. His mission was to promote U.S. natural gas exports.

Some (losers) have claimed that promoting natural gas exports is not part of the EPA's mission to “protect human health and the environment.” Those people apparently don’t understand that natural gas fracking is a fantastic means of habitat fragmentation and helps eliminate low-energy wildlife, bolstering the environment by prioritizing species that can survive mild to cataclysmic ecosystem disruption.

Nobody needs a sensitive lizard. Pruitt knows that more resilient wildlife are necessary to make America great again.

And he will continue to toughen up our whooping cranes and black-footed ferrets as soon as people stop trying to make a big deal out of the $50-per-night room he rented from the wife of an energy lobbyist.

How was Pruitt — a humble anti-EPA attorney general from Oklahoma — supposed to know there was anything wrong with renting a room from the wife of a lobbyist representing several clients who had matters pending before the environmental agency Pruitt long abhorred and now runs? All he wanted was to come to Washington and make it easier for companies to pump contaminants into the air, gifting Americans young and old with the character-building advantages of respiratory illness.

Only a stoned liberal would suggest that an EPA administrator who recently visited Morocco to promote natural gas exports shouldn’t be living in the condo of a woman whose husband is a lobbyist for Cheniere, a leading American exporter of liquefied natural gas. PUT DOWN THE PIPE, HIPPIE!

Stop bothering this good and faithful man, who recently told the Christian Broadcasting Network that God is totally on his side: “The biblical world view with respect to these issues is that we have a responsibility to manage and cultivate, harvest the natural resources that we’ve been blessed with to truly bless our fellow mankind.”

Oil and energy companies are mankind too, people. Pruitt is just trying to make us all better by harvesting the natural resources God wanted us to dig up and occasionally spill in a few places.

So please, stop complaining about the millions of dollars Scott Pruitt is spending on security and first-class flights and seagull-proof secret phone booths.

The man is trying to save us money.

By making sure there’s no environment left to protect.
