 If some being investigated committed crimes, or are alleged to have, they have a problem, and need to get right with the law, one way or another. So far nothing involving the people or even time period of the Trump announcement or his Presidential Campaign.

  Lots being unearthed, and more to be questioned, including Brenann and Clapper, the Podesta Brothers, Debbie Blabermouth Schultz, and more. What did they know, and when did they know it. Oh, and the President, of course, Barack Obama, once the others are on the record.

  Should be interesting getting to the bottom of it all.

That is the goal, to win enough Electoral Votes, and become President. States are well Represented in this manner, equal with other States, and proportional to the number of Congressional Districts (population), for fairness.

That is what was achieved. Donald J. Trump achieved the desired goal.

The American Citizens who voted in each District, State, and DC determined which Candidate received the Electoral Votes for the State, according to the rules each State and the District of Columbia use to allocate such votes.

The Electors then, later, contributed their Votes, or not, within the law, to make clear the will of their voters.

Our Representative Democratic Republic thus conducts Presidential elections.
Getting an excess number beyond the majority count in any District counts only for bragging rights, and hopefully helps overcome any vote legitimacy issues that could arise, if for instance, an ineligible voter contributed at one or another Polling station.

Candidates within a certain margin of error may request a recount, paid for by the Candidate, depending upon the State's election rules as to details.

The simpler way to say what you're trying to say, Joan, is that Trump's a looser. Not just a looser; a huge looser. The biggest looser. He's like a looser's looser; sort of the kind of looser a looser would pick, if they wanted to pick a president who couldn't win the people's votes.

I don't like looser presidents. I want a real president, not some phony looser. After Mueller removes Trump, I hope he puts Hillary in his place. Did you know Hillary won most of the votes? That's what a winner does. Win the job because they have most of the votes.

  I think the word you were looking for is "loser", as President Trump often uses it to refer to the trogs who attack Americans. Look up Hillary to see the definition of "loser", if you have any doubts.

  President Trump clearly WON the 2008 Presidential Election, and is our President today, as a result of winning the election. That a competitor won the useless excess votes in her home State, and other leftist States, to carry some small percentage of the States and Districts in the Nation with redundant votes of Citizens, and illegal votes in the case of California, did not carry the day.

  The $12,000,000, her Campaign paid for the laughable 'dossier', added with over a Billion dollars of other peoples money she squandered, could not make up for her inability to draw sizable crowds in most places, and her disdain for those she unwisely shunned, like Wisconsin in its entirety.

  Her security detail being forced to toss her, like a side of beef, into the black ambulance near the 911 Commemoration likely was the death knell for enough people outside her deep blue, bought and paid for, Democrat real estate.
