When it looks like a duck, and walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it is a duck. Hillary is a liar, and I wonder sometimes if she even knows she is lying, or is just so used to people helping her cover up, and not asking the follow up question (one reason she hardly EVER has a free wheeling press conference).

Crooked Hillary is an apt term. She is the first Candidate to run for office while under active FBI investigation, and active State Department investigations, which continue to this day, still seeking the various threads being sorted. Little girls across the country are watching, and learning how some people can get away with nearly anything.

Hillary is a person that even a friend will find difficult to 'stand' sometimes, and difficult to 'like' most times, and she wields power with authority, and some just cannot look away. The era of Bill Clinton is over, and Hillary is over as well. She was 'over' in 2008, kicked to the curb by the same people who fete her this week in Philadelphia, cause they got a better offer... DWS and the DNC, under Hillary's regime, saw to it that no "better offer" would happen this time, no matter what the people, even her own people, wanted.

Sad to watch.

Actually Trump is also under FBI investigation and according to Politifact, he lies more than any politician in modern history.  However, Hillary has the best record of telling the truth in this campaign.

Noticing that voting is not compulsory in the USA, is there a chance that attendance on Polling Day will be somewhat reduced by the fact that either candidate is hard to accept by many traditional supporters. From where we view the situation, it appears as if the choice is very limited.

Would love for Donald to request Putin hook him up with the ex IRS commissioner, Lois Lerner?, for her emails, we still have not seen them.
Seems they were "lost", some glitch or something, all on the up and up, nothing to worry our little heads about...

Why worry about Hillary's emails being made public, she has already told us they contain nothing but her exercise clothing purchases, XXXL yoga pants and the like, and Pilates plans, and wedding plans for Web Hubble's daughter to that Hedge Fund guy, whatever.

Just regular down home American personal emails, nothing to worry about there, or she would have turned them all in.

Of course she would have printed them out and shredded them first maybe, just to keep life interesting for the State Dept. I mean, why turn over the digital file in a searchable format?

And what about Trump urging Russia to release/find/hack Hillarys emails.  A presidential nominee encouraging espionage against a high ranking US official.   I sort of have a problem with that.

   Even you, Katiebee, can recognize sarcasm for what it is. Possible Treason, right... from the people who care not who enters the country, and call for more of the same... for whom Treason is not in their lexicon, except for trying to feed the press a line, after their "disunity" day message was stepped upon, by a long free wheeling press conference, something their candidate cannot handle.

   Am listening now, as Hillary stayed largely screech free, until about 1043pm, when she sought to claim Trump cares not about real Americans, such as the Military and First Responders (she was careful not  to say the word Police).

   After the BS story about how she recalls hearing a story of her abused mom, at 3 to 4 years old, being left alone to turn in some sort of coupon at the cafe near her family home... total unverifiable along with the rest of the useless Rodham family story... writing off her Mom as an abused woman, and her Dad as a strict but stay away mostly Navy Petty Officer, "at work and at home"... we had to listen to such drivel, in her effort to show she is human, somehow.

   Oh well. Hillary is having her moment in the sun. Bernie left the Democrat Party on the "day of unity" by the way, and the DNC arranged paid seat fillers to keep from having empty seats when the Bernie Delegates and supporters walked out on the "day of unity"... so much for "unity". 

   Hillary now, at 1053p is droning on with another uncheckable story about a young girl in a wheelchair on the balcony of a third floor walk up in some small town in MA, and how years later she changed the laws for that town somehow, having never been a resident of MA in any town...

   Oh well, her remaining and loyal sign waving audience (all the Bernie signs were confiscated and destroyed on the First Day of the convention), are dutifully cheering. They are stuck with her, and know it, and have moved on... trying to get a seat filler, maybe, so as to get a jump on traffic and get out of Philly before the predicted flash floods.

Planned Tax Hikes

Hillary Clinton has made clear she intends to dramatically raise taxes on the American people if elected. She has proposed an income tax increase, a business tax increase, a death tax increase, a capital gains tax increase, a tax on stock trading, an "Exit Tax" and more (see below). Her planned net tax increase on the American people is at least $1 trillion over ten years, based on her campaign’s own figures.

Hillary has endorsed several tax increases on middle income Americans, despite her pledge not to raise taxes on any American making less than $250,000. She has said she would be fine with a payroll tax hike on all Americans, she has endorsed a steep soda tax, endorsed a 25% national gun tax, and most recently, her campaign manager John Podesta said she would be open to a carbon tax. It’s no wonder that when asked by ABC's George Stephanopoulos if her pledge was a "rock-solid" promise, she slipped and said the pledge was merely a “goal.” In other words, she's going to raise taxes on middle income Americans.

Hillary’s formally proposed $1 trillion net tax increase consists of the following:

Income Tax Increase – $350 Billion: Clinton has proposed a $350 billion income tax hike in the form of a 28 percent cap on itemized deductions.

Business Tax Increase -- $275 Billion: Clinton has called for a tax hike of at least $275 billion through undefined business tax reform, as described in a Clinton campaign document.

“Fairness” Tax Increase -- $400 Billion: According to her published plan, Clinton has called for a tax increase of “between $400 and $500 billion” by “restoring basic fairness to our tax code.” These proposals include a “fair share surcharge,” the taxing of carried interest capital gains as ordinary income, and a hike in the Death Tax.

But there are even more Clinton tax hike proposals not included in the tally above. Her campaign has failed to release specific details for many of her proposals. The true Clinton net tax hike figure is likely much higher than $1 trillion.

For instance:

Capital Gains Tax Increase -- Clinton has proposed an increase in the capital gains tax to counter the “tyranny of today’s earnings report.” Her plan calls for a byzantine capital gains tax regime with six rates. Her campaign has not put a dollar amount on this tax increase.

Tax on Stock Trading -- Clinton has proposed a new tax on stock trading. Costs associated with this new tax will be borne by millions of American families that hold 401(k)s, IRAs and other savings accounts. The tax increase would only further burden markets by discouraging trading and investment. Again, no dollar figure for this tax hike has been released by the Clinton campaign.

“Exit Tax” – Rather than reduce the extremely high, uncompetitive corporate tax rate, Clinton has proposed a series of measures aimed at inversions including an “exit tax” on income earned overseas. The term “exit tax” is used by the campaign itself. Her campaign document describing this proposal says it will raise $80 billion in tax revenue, but claims some of the $80 billion will be plowed into tax relief. How much? The campaign doesn't say.

This proposal completely fails to address the underlying causes behind inversions: The U.S. 39% corporate tax rate (35% federal rate plus an average state rate of 4%) and our "worldwide" system of taxation, which imposes tax on all American earnings worldwide. The average corporate rate in the developed world is 25%. Thirty-one of thirty-four developed countries have cut their corporate tax rate since 2000. The U.S. has not. Hillary's plan moves in the wrong direction.

The story about Bernie signs being confiscated originated with the Daily Caller. No other outlet has reported this.  It is possible that some signs were taken by some people, but reports that this was done by the DNC is erroneous.

Hillary: still better than Trump.  And her speech was far better too.

Let me make this clear for you Joan.

I really don't think a sullen, loud-mouthed, unthinking, 12 year old boy with anger issues is fit to be president of the US, and have access to nuclear weapons, much less the power of our conventional forces.

His "sarcasm" is unbridled. How many allies will he offend and drive away with his crap. How long till he pisses off an unstable, unfriendly government into striking at us?

Right The Donald is presidential. Forgive me if his past performance influences my opinion of him.
