Oh, I've been there...
I recently changed jobs, but at my previous employer I was in a department of 15, and 13 of them* were young enough to be my offspring, with no danger of breaking any age-related laws. Anywhere.
My immediate superior was only 4 years older than my oldest actual son.
I don't think I look old, but when I told a group of early teens that I had tutored Queen Victoria's children in woodcarving, none of them queried the statement...
(*#14 just retired, and #15 was me.)
Oh, and I'm 48.
