Gee thanks for calling me old.

Miss B, you aren't much older than Gina or me.

That's true.

But I'm MUCH younger than Toe...

Seems most everyone else IS much younger than Toe.

:)

I doubt I "much younger".  I'm at the point that I'm older then almost everyone I work with at the hospital.

But there are advantages to age, and I wouldn't go back to 20 for anything.  30 maybe, 30's were good.

I use to think I'd like to be a certain age again but that passed when I entered my 40's I'm having the time of my life.

I agree with WBL. I am 48, the forties have been very good for me. I have had the best sex, then my prior decades. Finesse is better than hustle. Remember your youth, and live for today, and be ready for what tomorrow brings.

Considering it's a common moniker that I've heard most of my adult life, it appears to hold true here too.

"Baby of the group" at 26.

I just turned 25. Sorry.

No need to apologize, I stand humbly corrected.

I'm so old I remember when dirt was first discovered.

56 or 16, I can't tell which; I'm one of the two, for sure.  The grey is a dead give-away, but I run circles around 20-year-olds ALL day, EVERY day.  I can run guys half my age RIGHT into the ground.  A friend of mine calls me the Energizer Bunny on crack.   ;D  I have cute young twenty-somethings following me around, so I *must* be younger, right?

As you get older, the SECOND thing that goes is your memory.  I can't remember what the FIRST thing is.

Remember the Golden Rule: you do me, and I\'ll do you (paraphrased)

Even with increasing aches and pains of old age creeping up on me, I still feel younger than my 69 years.

Was at the VA yesterday for annual check up.  Seeing some of the other Vets bent over, limping along and in wheelchairs, I realized I'm in fairly good shape for the shape I'm in.  Learning to take things a bit slower and accepting that helps a lot.

One big mystery tho'.  Why do I keep seeing so many younger people around?????  And...there's more of 'em every year!!!

Mass cloning! Don't you watch Orphan Black? ;-) It's a higher secret project being worked on in Canada and the clones are secretly shipped underground to America. They started cloning cats, successfully I may say. ;-)

That's another thing about getting older.  Technology keeps moving ahead faster than my brain can keep up.  I was just telling that to my clone the other day, when we met for coffee.

And...thanks for reminding me.  "Orphan Black" starts a new season this month.  I know, off topic.

You're welcome.
Yeah, I was watching Star Trek: The Next Generation on BBC America a few days ago and saw the commercial for the new season, so that's why Orphan Black was on my mind. :^)
I actually haven't seen it yet, i'm more into Sundance Channel's The Red Road. I saw the second season premiere last Thursday night.

I suppose that means you've done everything at least once. Twice just to make certain.

Interesting!
My Grandpa insisted that he was so old that he remembers when they invented dirt—a cause prior to that they had nothing to play with except rocks!

I know how you feel. I work with a young girl who was born the year I graduated high school. We were talking about the new fashion trend of flanel shirts and hiking boots. I said "yeah it's called grunge, it was popular in the 90's. She said, " Oh, well I wouldn't know I was born in the late 90's.  :emot_laughing: Oh gosh, now I feel old.
