He wants to talk about artists and respect/ He's no artist nor does he deserve what he gives no one else. Take away AutoTune and that child couldn't croak his way out of a shower much less sing.
Taking away auto tune would end most of what they now call top 50 pop tunes, rap and hip hop.
You need to remember, money is what sells albums. Money is about the only thing that drives the music producers and auto tune sells, A LOT! Talent has become an underrated skill in music now. It's still there but you need to turn your standard radio off and start using Youtube and other internet music options. Standard free radio has no interest in anything other than what is popular at the moment.
I don't listen to mainstream music much anymore but will say that even for the types of music I do listen to, it's still pretty much mainstream for that style. You can't get away from it.
