It'd be the other way 'round.  Hell, there ain't nothing down there but the hired help.

I figure I increased the IQ of Texas by a few points by moving here.  Compared to the Texas Legislature, I increased it by a *lot*.  Damn, they're dumb as bricks down in Austin.  Not any brighter up here in Dallas, either.

If you increased the IQ of Texas when you moved there, did you decrease the IQ of the state you moved from?  ;D

They also want to make Texas an open carry state. If they do, then I expect in metropolitan areas we will see a flurry of establishments posting 30.06 signs prohibiting firearms. Just like what happened in Oklahoma.

Just saw on the news where a member of the Texas legislature tweeted that even Hitler visited Paris but Obama couldn't.  To compare any of our politicians with Hitler sucks.

Why Does "Brain Dead" keep coming to mind here?
Does Texas not realize that they are part of the Union (you know the 50 states?).
You can't really invade what you already are part of, and besides Texas already has (I think) two of the largest US Army Bases in the country.
"NOW"....If Texas wants to invade Mexico....that's an entirely different matter.

Reality does not really affect these people, Liz. They follow the latest fear monger because he's white and a good 'Mericun, and Christian, and stuff!

Actually using critical thinking skills is not what these people excel at. That's part of why they are in a rural backwater.
