My GoDaddy Account has been hacked

So far they have unlocked the url we use as the test site.  I have called GoDaddy and they have instructed me to email their fraud department.  I have done so.

The hackers have changed the email and password associated with my Godaddy account so I am no longer getting information on what else they might have done.  I suspect they will use the account to set up a re-direct to another site. So if KB goes down / is redirected elsewhere that is what happened.

Not to worry though, it will be temporary if is happens.

Yeah, I'm one of the first people that Lois called.

Backups are run, so we're good.  If they manage to re-point the domains before the fraud department at GoDaddy locks out the skiddies, then we'll just re-point when they accept proof of Lois' identity.

Different passwords are used here, so the forums SHOULD be safe.  Backups guarantee it.

I used to manage a web site I developed through GoDaddy and they were tops in service and answering problems.  Plus I actually talked to a live person in Arizona when I needed assistance.  So Lois and RF, I am sure they will get to the bottom of this.

Lois, some of us use the "Show unread posts since last visit" option to see what was posted on while we were gone. The easiest way to clean this up is to click on the threads to show I read it. This click doesn't mean I had any interest in a high jacked thread, it means I wanted to clean up old posts.
