He lied on travel documents, ...

And how do you know this?  Any credible sources?  Or perhaps you saw these documents with your own eyes?

The President of Liberia said he would be charged if he survived. In any event, he did not survive. Any lawsuit needs to be for the amount of money in his pockets when he landed in the US, if there was any. Mr. Jackson needs to get lost, and whoever is backing him in this venture needs to be exposed publicly.

He lied on travel documents, ...

And how do you know this?  Any credible sources?  Or perhaps you saw these documents with your own eyes?

I really did not intend to fuss so much over the guy from Liberia... just got me going when Jessie Jackson Sr. put his hands in the family's pockets, and trying to get into ours.

Texas was the unfortunate destination for this man, but near any US Hospital just a few weeks ago would have had a similar response... with hundreds of people at their ER on some nights, the chaos about who said what to whom, versus association of a patients ramblings about a trip to Africa, would not put anyone in a mood to don space suits and go to 100% isolation... all that has changed, and we are hopefully better prepared, now we know that it has not been stopped "over there", and will not be from the precautions taken.

We are so lucky to have some insulation, which is quickly evaporating. The virus giving kids Nationwide paralysis issues is really the more serious issue, as to how such a problem starts and within weeks rampages across the nation, working on being in every state... and few if any will challenge the bizarro manner a virus endemic to Honduras was imposed just after school started, with our added "guest students" in August and September.

Connecting the dots, dotting the " i's " and crossing the " t's " is just a lost art now, unlike post 911 days when people were "solving" all sorts of mysteries. A virus can be a tool for those who wish us ill will, and we can only hope "washing our collective hands" is the cure.

Congratulations, Mr. President! You filled the top end of the Drudge Report today with your actions, inactions, rhetoric, and complete politicization of the crisis, appointing a Democrat bagman lawyer as
Ebola Czar.

Ron Klain, fresh from Obama's Stimulus scheme, remember that one, hip deep in the Solyndra scandal, AlGore's failed Global Warming guy, and Joe Biden's attack dog during the Clarence Thomas hearings, will report to Susan Rice, whose integrity is unmatched.

While Mr. Klain, pardon me, Czar Klain, has zero health care credentials and no experience in any medical field, or crisis solving experience, he will know how to direct the United States efforts, and insure the payoffs and graft money gets to the right pockets.

Expect to hear less about Ebola, certainly less than you can trust.

Actually, I'm much more worried about an outbreak of Small Pox than I am of Ebola.

The above graph just applies to a small area in the midwest, not the entire USA.

Global Summary Information - September 2014
September global temperature reaches record high;

January–September global temperature ties as record highest

The globally averaged temperature over land and ocean surfaces for September 2014 was the highest for September since record keeping began in 1880. It also marked the 38th consecutive September with a global temperature above the 20th century average. The last below-average global temperature for September occurred in 1976.

.....

Global temperature highlights: January–September

The combined average temperature over global land and ocean surfaces for January–September tied with 1998 as the warmest such period on record, at 1.22°F (0.68°C) above the 20th century average of 57.5°F (14.1°C). If 2014 maintains this temperature departure from average for the remainder of the year, it will be the warmest year on record. The margin of error associated with this temperature is ±0.20°F (0.11°C).

The January–September worldwide land surface temperature was 1.75°F (0.97°C) above the 20th century average, the sixth warmest such period on record. The margin of error is ±0.41°F (0.23°C).

The global sea surface temperature for the year to date was 1.03°F (0.57°C) above the 20th century average, the warmest such period on record. The margin of error is ±0.09°F (0.05°C).

Fog of Ebola war: White House
'unclear' as military leaders
urge US troop quarantine

Earnest on quarantines for US troops sent to Ebola hot zones
Never autoplay videos

The White House would not say Monday whether President Obama thinks U.S. troops returning from the Ebola hot zone in West Africa should be quarantined, as the U.S. Army unilaterally imposed that policy on its own troops and the Joint Chiefs of Staff recommended the rest of the military follow suit.

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel currently is considering the Joint Chiefs' recommendation to impose a mandatory 21-day quarantine for all returning troops. At Monday's daily briefing, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest acknowledged that Hagel might coordinate with the White House on that decision.

But when pressed by Fox News on what the president's position is, Earnest would not say.

"We will let the Department of Defense make an announcement," Earnest said. Asked how the U.S. could send troops to West Africa without a clear plan on procedures for leaving the Ebola battlefield, Earnest said: "We're going to let science drive that process."

The comments reflected the latest area of confusion in the ever-evolving U.S. response to the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. Over the weekend, the White House put pressure on New Jersey and New York over policies quarantining returning health care workers. But it remains unclear where the White House -- and Hagel himself -- stands on applying that standard to returning U.S. servicemembers.

Also on Monday, federal health officials issued new guidelines calling for voluntary, home quarantine for people returning from West Africa at the highest risk of contracting Ebola. The new guidelines detail various risk levels, with the highest being those who, for instance, may have been stuck by a needle while caring for an Ebola patient. But most health workers still would be subject only to daily monitoring.

So far, the Army is the only military branch to take the step of ordering mandatory quarantines. In a decision Fox News confirms was made by Army Chief of Staff Gen. Ray Odierno, the Department of the Army has issued guidelines ordering troops returning from West Africa into a 21-day isolation, separated from their families and other troops.

Currently, a team that consists of Maj. Gen. Darryl A. Williams and 11 other troops is being held in isolation in a building at their base in Vicenza, Italy, after returning from Liberia.

"There are several dozen more people due in, and they will go through the same procedure," Pentagon spokesman Col. Steve Warren said, adding that "no specific event or incident" triggered the policy.

Asked if Hagel thought the Army's decision was a good idea, Warren said "he would have to get back" to Fox News on the question.

The secretary is deliberating, and no final decision has been made. "Secretary Hagel has a big problem," one senior U.S. official told Fox News, referring to the decision he has to make.

If the Pentagon does decide on a 21-day quarantine for all returning personnel, it would represent a major shift in its Ebola response policy. And it could put them at odds with the White House.

"The Obama administration is going to war with New York and New Jersey, but its own military is recommending the same thing," a senior U.S. official told Fox News.

Earnest stressed Monday that the Defense Department's policy for all branches has "not been settled and implemented yet."

He also drew a distinction with the policies implemented in New York and New Jersey, noting that they singled out health workers.

Earnest said the administration wants to make sure that government policies "do not serve as a disincentive" to doctors and nurses.

The current military plan, outside the Army, is only to quarantine those individuals who may come in contact with infected patients.

Defense Department officials have made clear that no personnel are going to be treating infected patients and that the vast majority of the troops in Liberia are logistical experts who are establishing the medical infrastructure for health care workers outside the Department of Defense.

But a growing number of U.S. military personnel are being deployed, and would be affected by any blanket quarantine order. As of Friday, 686 U.S. troops were in West Africa as part of that mission, with hundreds more expected to have arrived over the weekend.

If Hagel accepts the recommendation from the Joint Chiefs, it would put the Defense Department in line with New York and New Jersey, which have faced the ire of the White House for such mandatory quarantine policies for returning health workers.

Amid that pressure, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie's administration on Monday said a health care worker quarantined after she returned from Sierra Leone -- and who threatened a lawsuit -- has been cleared to go home.

The state Department of Health said the patient, Kaci Hickox, has been symptom-free for 24 hours, and "is being discharged" after being evaluated in coordination with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The health department said Monday that the patient was subject to quarantine at first because she had direct exposure to people suffering from Ebola in West Africa. At this point, though, she has requested to return to Maine, and the state says that will be arranged "via a private carrier."

"She will remain subject to New Jersey's mandatory quarantine order while in New Jersey," the department said. "Health officials in Maine have been notified of her arrangements and will make a determination under their own laws on her treatment when she arrives."

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo also announced late Sunday he had loosened some of the restrictions in the mandatory 21-day Ebola quarantine he had ordered along with Christie this past Friday.

Under the new guidelines, health workers who have had contact with Ebola patients will be quarantined at home and receive twice-daily monitoring if they have no symptoms. Family members will be allowed to stay. The state will pay for any lost compensation, if they are not paid by a volunteer organization.

Meanwhile, in New York a 5-year-old boy returning from West Africa reportedly was taken to a local hospital Sunday with possible Ebola symptoms. He was reported to have a 103-degree fever.

Virginia also will start actively monitoring travelers from the three West African countries. Last week, Connecticut quarantined a family of six, along with three others. The family of six was quarantined after TSA flagged them due to their travel to West Africa.

The Joint Chiefs Of Staff, The United States Army, and President Obama's favorite Republican Governor, Chris Christie, along with two other liberal Governors have taken prudent action to protect citizens and their aliens, legal and illegals alike, from an epidemic of Ebola.

The White House spokesman could not say if the President has any opinion at all, or whether the White House agrees or whether the Obama Administration disagrees with the top Military commanders, and the bipartisan group of liberal Governors, when it comes to any protection of the people in our homeland.

Other Governors are sitting on their hands, due to the usual indecision or poor decision making when it may occur, at least until after the Midterm Election in just 7 days and "a wakeup", as the Joint Chiefs might say.

The entire nation expects a travel ban will resolve the issue, after another thousand or two thousand potential carriers arrive from West Africa, which of course is the correct thing to do, after the election. Daily there seems to be yet another outbreak of dangerous alien to the US diseases, some we never had until recently, and many like the Honduran Flu brought in with the "children" who need to shave before attending elementary schools in this summer's invasion fiasco.

A nurse and Democrat activist engaged by the CDC has threatened a lawsuit, with her "civil rights lawyer" against the only Republican to take any decisive action by doing what over 70% of his State's citizenry expect any sane executive to do, prevent further contact via enforced Quarantine. The President is doing his best to thwart rational behavior by leaders of his party and other liberal Governors, like Chris Christie... while his spokesperson dissembles on the issue.

Two years and 7 days and a wakeup, and you can have something to say about how we proceed in the future. The clock is ticking....

Well, considering that the second infected Dallas nurse will be released today, I'd say yes, my comment is justified.

Sowing fear, uncertainty, and doubt is not a constructive method of governance. That is the tactic that the conservatives have been employing for the last 8 years. The items you mentioned in your rebuttal are either direct actions of conservatives or the consequences of conservative policies.

Believe what you will, Katiebee, and be happy you live in Texas, with low taxes, and higher than most as to their employment and economy. I know you have a kneejerk reaction to things that make sense until O decides whether to be dragged kicking and screaming to making the correct decision, which is why you are not very happy, and have been looking to blame others since the Democrats took over the House and Senate, 8 years ago, and got us into this mess.

I am not saying the high spending, government program passing, prescription drug with donut hole passing, RINO and pretend to be conservatives to get elected Republicans were doing a good job... just saying the chaos that descended in 2006 on governance, and the weak candidates offered us all, lying all the way, has complicated any semblance of "normal".

I have to suffer the likes of fake Rep. Elanore Holmes Norton, who dumped her husband when she was caught not filing income taxes, just prior to her "for life" position in the House, and when she had a vote squandered it on legislation that went nowhere, bitching about it the whole while. We endured "shadow" Senator Jessie Jackson for the years he collected a Senators pay, while living in Chicago, and taking his DC "residence" as a write off. IDK who our TWO fake Senators are now, or even whether one may be running for reelection... it is just presumed the Dem will win no matter what in Washington, DC.

Go ahead and throw palm branches in front of his motorcade, and "suddenly" support the likes of Sandra Fluke who no one ever heard of until she disrupted, along with Norton, a House committee meeting.
Find your heroes and heroines where you may, and ignore the Obama Phone people with whom you throw in your lot.

Millions of dollars later, thank goodness the Nurses in Dallas got out with their lives, and thank God the sick alien will not be on lifetime support here with all his kids and family, who he had ignored for up to 16 years before he placed the half billion demand on your State a few weeks ago. I guess you believe if someone took his temperature, that would be just about the best screening to be offered.

Common sense, not extreme right wing ideology is what is needed, and policies that stand up to the back and forth of Congressional legislation in "regular order" is what is needed, just as it was for each President before this one. Enjoy the next 9,000,000 illegals with green cards coming up shortly.

"Father forgive them, as they know not what they do." Has a certain ring to it, eh?

Don't for a moment think that low taxes are effective. We have low performing schools, roads that we can't repair, and a state government that doesn't do anything of value. They impose their religious beliefs on others in everything that they possibly can insert it into. They are not the answer.
