Add two more Eagles to the tally. The Minnesota DNR Eagle cam recorded the first of two eggs hatching Friday and the second egg hatched yesterday.

"What stays in Vegas" doesn't mean YOU stay there!

Jules come home, we miss you.

Then again...I start thinking of all the stories I've read about beautiful women running up big gambling debts and having to "work off their debt". Let's hope our girl didn't end up in the Vegas version of our bomb shelter. :facepalm:  :emot_laughing:

Extended our stay for a bit. Currently in Arizona. To Vegas airport tomorrow.  I'll be home Friday, but likely won't be on until Saturday.

I've not been online.  No internet access at all.  When I did, we called the kids.   Hiking the National Parks since the day we arrived.  I have over 130 miles on these boots according to Dan's GPS.  SOOOO much fun.

Miss everyone.  Talk more when I get back to Michigan.

I am freaking impressed.  My Eagle Scout son only did 125 miles on his trek at Philmont, and I thought that was crazy!

Wow! After all winter inside, wife was going through dog withdrawal. Warmer weather neighbors stop by with their dogs so she can play with 'em on the front step.

First to stop was Teddy, a 10 year old St. Bernard...and he's a big teddy bear. While greeting him we saw a medium size brown dog two doors down, unleashed and unaccompanied. I went over and brought him back to our yard. He and Teddy got along just fine. Called the number on the collar and asked person if they were missing a dog. She came right down and got him and we visited for a while.

Then a friend stopped by. Had some fabric for the wife. She's dog sitting for a few days and brought the pooch along. So, lots of petting, treats handed out and wet face from doggy kisses. :D
