Chocolate actually does pair good with bourbon for those that think Jed and I are joking.
I often have a small cup of M&M's nearby when having a pour, and will eat one every now and then between a tip of the Glencairn.

I’ve had a few flavored whiskeys before including peanut butter, although the bottle was different than above. I do not recall the brand for the peanut butter, but I remember my liquor store recommending Bird Dog Blackberry Whiskey.
Despite my love of peanut butter, I did not like any of these flavored whiskeys. All I’ve tried were too sweet. If they could infuse the flavor and ease up on the sugar, I might like them.

Try this: a decadent dessert, let’s say chocolate peanut butter pie; take a very small bite of pie followed by a sip of bourbon. Once the burn of the bourbon fades, take a sip of red wine. Repeat until the decadent dessert is gone and you have trouble getting out of your chair.
