Watching my Peruvian making Lomo saltado while wearing an apron with chilies on it and wearing one of my old t-shirts with whitetail deer on it, the sleeves pushed up past her elbows.  It’s all I can do not to yank her sweatpants down and do her right there over the stove.

My clothes on the other hand are about to be starched from the inside out.  Lomo has potatoes and rice in it.

I think the worst of my illness is behind me.   About 4pm yesterday, it was like a switch flicked and I suddenly felt 90% better.   It was like a 72 hour flu.

My joints are still a little stiff.   My head is still a little groggy.   My nightmares and very strange dreams continued last night, probably from the meds I was taking.


What I'm not happy about is my laptop is not playing nice.  I am borrowing Dan's laptop and it's just not the same.

Watcher knows of one joint on him that is always stiff.... ;D ;D  But nice to hear you are pretty much back to normal.

Glad to hear you are on the mend Jules.  The one time I had the flu in 1998, it was 3 horrid days of sweating and chills that suddenly broke on day 4.  Hoping you rapidly recover from here on out.

I was sooooooooo tired. I couldn't even move last night. I slept all night, woke up AFTER the kids were gone. I didn't even know what day it was. I thought it was Saturday.  :roll:

Everything was taken care of for me. Including diaper changes.  :D

And glad to hear Jules is getting better. I wonder how many gallons your hubby has stored up waiting for you.  :emot_heehee:

The freeze didn’t kill the fruit trees.  Blooms and buds all look healthy.

We probably take in no more than a bushel or two of fruit per year, yet here I was debating with wife last night, about whether to spend $80 on freeze blankets to wrap the trees.  “Do you know how much fruit $80 will buy?”

She has no concept of cost/benefit.  To her, the trees are her babies.  She took beds sheets from the linen closet, and wrapped the trees herself.  I love her.

Got word my sister is out of surgery. Had triple bypass. Be in her room in about an hour. Her sons will be able to see her then.
