Me: No amount of begging is going to get you a duck. Where would you even keep it?

Me: I'm not turning our pool into an aquarium.

Nothing to do, nowhere to go, having margaritas and quesadillas for lunch.  Havent decided what I'll have for dinner but I'm sure it'll include margaritas

Local pet food store held the monthly cat claw clipping clinic today. Our kids were due. I dreaded to ordeal of stuffing the little fur-balls in their carriers. Once we get the first cat bagged, the second runs for cover.

The girl was on the table, so wife held her while I went for carriers.  Popped the girl in hers and went looking for the boy. Found him still sound asleep. Gently picked him up and into the carrier he went.

Drove to pet store...cats meowing their displeasure all the way. Ended up first in line, pedicure s completed and back home.

After scorning us for awhile, all is back to normal in the house...cats still in charge, naturally.

CJ got called to help at the food pantry I volunteer at tomorrow. The seven wants to go too and donate some of her stuff she doesn't need anymore. Everyone else is busy tomorrow so it's just us.  :D

Another "cat" day for us.  Yesterday was pedicures for our two.

Today we'll be attending the annual cat show that's part of St. Paul's winter carnival. It's fun seeing all the pampered pussies, and watching the judging. So many breeds involved, it's great fun.

After that, we go to the park next to the arena complex and view the ice sculptures.  Fantastic designs including large, complex creations using multiple blocks, and smaller single block carvings.  Temps just below freezing, so they should hold up ok.

Camera will being along, so maybe some pics will be posted tomorrow.  Everyone loves looking at pussy pictures, right. ;D
