I thought I had a deposition in Dallas tomorrow morning, 300 miles away. This would’ve required to me to get up at 3 AM and make a four hour trip. As I was preparing for it; however, opposing counsel called and said he had a conflict. Would I be willing to reschedule for another week? Of course. Now I’m gonna get a little sleep tonight. Cannot be more thankful.

The sevens cat acted like something really bad happened to her. It pawed at her bedroom door, thinking she was inside. Then it sounded like it was crying. Wouldn't leave the door all day. I don't get it. That cat sleeps snuggled with her every night, knows she was perfectly fine this morning but it was acting like something awful happened to her. I kept telling it "Kay will be home later today" but it would just look at me with the saddest look on its face.

Then when she got home, the cat ran right to her and demanded to be picked up and held. Acted like she was never going to see her again.

Cats are weird.  :roll:

Now they're snuggled up under covers and off to sleep. The dog also sleeps in her room.

She loves animals, and animals love her. I guess that's the only explanation. But sometimes the dog will travel at night, almost like checking on all the kids. But always heads back to the seven for snuggles.

OMG, my dad will be in the hospital tonight.  All weekend actually.... pain killers and 24 hour care by professionals.... I'm not needed.... time to fire up the old Tinder account and put an end to this dry spell.

I sent the foster kids back to school yesterday.  Funny how getting rid (temporarily) of the people you love can be good for your the sex life.

Let’s face it.  Most people after a certain age are single for a reason.  I encountered skanks, bitter divorcées, and alcoholic pill poppers.  Which one was I you ask?  But I digress.  There was one hot Latina who really wanted to fuck, but she was a lousy kisser and mentioned getting married on the first date.  Ain’t nobody got time for that.  And she was primary care provider for her two elderly parents.  I really need someone to be my primary care provider, so I didn’t appreciate the competition for scarce resources.

I was just in a mood today.  Feeling good, happy, relaxed, slight horny... just felt light and easy all day.  Despite the packers loss and my dad in the hospital, I loved today, spent it spreading love, kindness, and hopefully some arousal to my fellow posters and friends here on KB.

My dad gets to leave the hospital today, and he gets to have an in home nurse for a couple weeks so I do not need to be there as often as I was.

Got out of the house for a few hours today.  Headed up north on a "cheese run". A couple here know what that means. ;D

It is good to get away from the house on my own once in a while.  Wife has the TV on 24/7...gets tiresome and I usually retreat into an audio book.

On the way to Wisconsin, I stopped by a camera repair place I heard about a couple of months ago.  Got my sensor on the camera cleaned.  Lots of dust spots were showing up on my photos and have to spend extra time in Photoshop making them go away.  Guy took care of it in just about 15 minutes. I consider it $50.00, well spent.

Then on to the cheese store.  We stocked up for a couple months.  So much tastier than the factory crap you find in the grocery stores.
