The weather has been yucky.  Lots of rain.  Today it all changes.

We could be experiencing the warmest Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in years. It has been sunny and in the mid-50s since Sunday. For the fourth time ever in Chicago's recorded weather history has it been the coldest on Halloween, followed by a warmer Thanksgiving and now a warmer Christmas.

But I would gladly trade all that for decorating a palm tree on Christmas while lounging on the beach. Thinking tan lines on MJ..... 8)

My sisters wifey got her Xmas present a little early. We conspired to bring some of her family from the UK here. She couldn't believe it when she saw them.  :D


And CJ's present is here and according to his wife "begging to be unwrapped early".  8) Even wifey can't wait to see me play with it again.  :emot_smilio: :emot_bjsmiley:

Dan and I sitting out by the shoreline of Atlantic Ocean having a drink.  I spotted a red light in the sky.  I heard jingle bells.  The light grew brighter and brighter.  I heard a jolly laugh and a “Ho, ho, ho.”   

I just saw Santa Clause pass over the Florida Keys. 

Get to bed America, Santa is delivering presents.

But everyone is happy. My little brother loves his new tablet. Which I teased him can display all his favorite pictures better.  :roll:  ;D

Got my daughter a new laptop, she's showing interest in 3D modelling.  ;D She says it's a guaranteed job for the future. Mommy agrees.

The seven loves her new art supplies. Can't wait to start drawing.

The rest of my babies all got something special along with new clothes. The baby Latina loves her new coat. New tablets for all the kids.

Gave wifey something for her star wars collection, even though she's done with Disney shit.

And CJ unwraps her present in the basement tonight after everyone has gone to bed.  ;D Even wifey wants to watch the festivities. "I'll help clean you up, white girl."  ;D

A Christmas Eve where we had our doors open because of the beautiful weather and the little ones could play outside without coats on. Woke up this morning to a beautiful red sky and another beautiful December day.

And no, I didn't. No baby Yoda for wifey. I thought I could get one from someone who was making really amazing ones, but they only made a few and ran out. CJ woulda bought unauthorized merch, because it actually looked amazing and better than any Disney garbage. So no baby Yoda for wifey.

I was Santa for the kids last night.  It was fun reaching into my bag and reading the names and handing out presents.

Only bad thing about the Santa suit was the observation among the adults I didn’t need a pillow to simulate Santa’s belly.   :(

I did have a Peruvian on my lap  ;D

The Paramount cable channel is running that great Christmas movie all day. Back to back to back, etc.  Big WOO !!!

Every molecule of the day long prepared dinner is gone.

There's nothing left. Everyone got an equal amount, there are no left overs.

Everyone's a pig.  :roll: Even all the cookies and treats have been decimated. I guess it's alright though, it's a holiday. The kids have more sugar in their veins than blood right now.  :emot_laughing:
