Sounds like a very nice time, Jules. So glad to hear you're able to get out and have fun, as you continue to recover. Nice seeing you posting again too. You've been missed. :emot_kiss:

Got invited to go back to New York. But, I dunno. Two trips there was great, I don't know about a third. I seem to remember there's a bagel and pizza place every ten steps or so.

I don't know. Wifey wants to go. The kids didn't seem too excited about going back though even though they had a blast when we took them last year.

Lucky you. It's still almost completely green here.

My little brothers gaming laptop, that I gave him, was overheating while he and I playing together.

Told him to bring it over and I'd use some canned air to clean the fans and vents. I have to do it for mine,. It's no big deal. CJ can even replace thermal goop.  ;D

Our machines are top of the line but still, those tiny fans get dusty no matter how obsessed with cleaning I am. But when I took his apart, his fans were totally clogged. I blasted them, cleaned them and put it back together. Temps went down to about 35 degrees idle.

His mom also obsessively cleans. I don't get how they suck up so much dust.

But all is well and I got a hug for being "the best big sister ever".  ;D

Most of that 'dust' is dead skin cells... you lose 'em ALL the time.  No matter how often you clean, you're still shedding skin.  I lose more of it than you do, due to a couple of past issues I'm still paying for.

Remember the Golden Rule: you do me, and I\'ll do you (paraphrased)

I am at work today  We have a management meeting at 10am but we coupled it with Dan going down to Ohio to visit his friend from college for a round of golf   So he dropped me early.

It is supposed to rain but he says they have golfed in worse

I love some friends at work and was happy to visit with them this morning.   most of the staff comes in between 815 and 830.   maybe sneak off for breakfast with my assistant.

A gift from one of the partners.

I brought him a very nice bottle of bourbon and he unexpectedly reciprocated

It is hard to find and I have never actually seen a bottle of it in my life.

I gave him a Buffalo Trace Antique Collection bottle of Stagg
he gave me a bottle of Old Forester Birthday Bourbon.

I am so excited.   I will probably display it on our bar for many years before opening it.

I text Dan a pic and he said, what is it.
I will explain later I guess

It’s in the 70°’s today.  Beautiful blue fall sky.  I had a nice morning in court, and just relaxing a bit.  I got a really good night’s rest last night, so feeling 100% better.

Yeah, fuck you toe.  Woke at 1:30AM with the sweats and couldn’t get back to sleep.  I know why my Peruvian is sweating, it’s hot flashes, but why me???!!!  It’s in the 50s outside, so why was I sweating all night?  When I finally tried to get up for work, I had a massive headache probably from dehydration of sweating all night.  I called in sick.  Then I wanted a bath, but my well pump had cut off.  Figured why bathe anyway with the water low if I’m skipping work.   Now I’m on the toilet fighting constipation.

And it’s raining outside, but not enough to help my well!

Just kidding about the fuck you, at least someone is having a good day.

Well I’ve been really feeling like shit for days, so I am enjoying a reprieve.

I’m the same age my father in law and former father in law were when they died.  I told my wife at my last birthday, “If I can survive the next 12 months, I think I’ll hit 70.”  Damned if the fates aren’t trying to take me out early.

Sorry about the back up.  Buy some Fleets.  Ask your wife if she’d like to stick something up your ass.  You might be surprised by the response.  LOL.

Mission partially successful, but now my legs are asleep and there’s not enough water to flush.

Where’s that other ruin thread?  I’m in the wrong place I think.

A very Happy Birthday to you, e_monster.  I was 64 when things started really falling apart. :D So, hang in there. Your KB friends are here to support you. Oooops, just trying to hold you up, didn't mean for "that" to slip in. :emot_laughing:

Happy Birthday e-Monster!  I hope you have a great one!

56 was the year my body fell apart on me, but doesn’t have to be that way for you.  Wishing you health, happiness, and a bunch of sex.
