Apparently it's international lesbians day. As I've said, there are 4 women in my house who despise the word Lesbian and prefer "Gay". My mom, my stepmom, my sisters wifey and my wifey refuse to be called that word. It's because they're all "way too hot" to be Lesbians.  ;D And they all say I'm an egomaniac about my looks.

Whatever. I don't like to talk about either word with them. I refuse to even discuss it and that's lead them to thinking I love them less because when three of them "came out" to me I dismissed it and wouldn't talk about it.

But today all the gay girls were in the same room and I said "Happy international lesbian day!"  ;D

They all turned to me and looked at me as if they were going to fuckin' slaughter me. My sister looked at me, shook her head and mouthed "Nooooooooooo!".  :emot_laughing:

They still haven't gotten over it. I guess CJ isn't getting laid tonight. At least not upstairs anyway.  :D

Off topic, I know:

Can any mod help me with a password reset? I remain logged in on my iPad but can’t log in on PC.

Post in the sub forum linked below.  I’ll also hit “report to moderator” for you.  That usually gets eyeballs on it quickly.

http://www.kristensboard.com/forums/index.php?board=31.0

I got help. Thanks!

ID card? I don't need no stinkin' ID card. I already know who I am.

My sisters wifey called from work to check up and make sure their daughter was having a great day. She's had trouble adjusting to days without her mommies.

Then she told me she and my sister got in trouble for making out but not really because they're married and it wasn't "public".  ;D

CJ is happy to know they got their incredibly expensive educations just to make out.  ;D

So, about 3 weeks ago, Mrs JBRG and I needed something to kill an afternoon. I decided that we would go see if we could find her a newer car. Her 2010 Focus was suffering from rusted rocker panels (the panels below the doors). Everything else with her vehicle was fine. Just rusted out rockers.

We went to a few stealerships and looked for all wheel drive vehicles in our price range. We knew that we would not get much in trade value for her Focus so we were restricted in how high we could go. She also came to the conclusion that if we got her a different vehicle, we would not be able to afford to purchase the travel trailer we had been planning on getting. Therefore, we would not need my truck.

Test drove some vehicles. Told a stealership to go fuck themselves at the trade in value they were putting on my truck. Seems they were so anxious to sell one vehicle that they took it upon themselves to try and do a one for one deal.

Filled out an online form on a different dealerships website that came back and said my truck was worth $6000 more than what the stealership was offering. About 5 minutes after filling out the form, the dealer’s Internet sales guy calls me directly (had to give name and phone number on the form). We talked. I explained the situation and he was more than willing to work with our desires. I told him which vehicles interested us and made arrangements for a test drive of them.

Long story short, this dealer made us very happy with their desire to work with us. We walked out with 2 vehicles — a 2012 Focus Titanium hatchback for the Mrs and a 2017 Focus SE sedan for me.

Right off the bat, we decided to replace the supplied summer tires (all-season) with all weather tires. Chose the ones we wanted and found out afterwards that there was a $120.00 mail in rebate on each set.

So, what made me happy — 2 newer vehicles that get excellent fuel mileage that are winter ready.

That is all.

AND, after not paying a whole lot of attention to the radio this morning, I found out the Dodgers got beat by Washington last night. As an avowed despiser of the LA Dodgers, THAT really made my day.

The only thing in baseball that I hate more than the Dodgers is the entire American League.

That is all.

What is “new” about the 5 year old?  I thought you had three kids and the “adopted Latina.”  Do you have five kids now?

Do you really want a full explanation or can you spare CJ from story time?  ;D

2: I have three daughters. One I made when I was so wasted I literally thought I was flying at the time she was made. One I didn't make, but she's mine and I'll slap anyone who says otherwise. And I consider my wife's daughter to be mine as well.

So, to date, you have said you have three daughters, described above, and the adopted Latina.

Things change ya know. A lot. There are a lot more than 3 children here. But CJ has hit the limit.

CJ isn't in the mood to type out a books worth of explanation.  :D

Got a friend who’s wife would frequently take in strays, and we’re not talking dogs.  In one instance, the girl’s parents moved away without her.  So they took her in and raised her until she turned 18, no involvement with social services or any other agency, just did it.  Apparently they did this several times.

He said last year he was at a Redskin’s game and some girl yelled ‘Hi Dad!’  It was one of the strays now in her 30s.  Doing well enough that she was at an NFL game.

There's just too much few special people like that in the world. Our CG is one. Me, not so much...at least not to that extent.
Have all the Percy fun you want CG... you've earned it with all the good you do. :D

Well trained and been made compliant....by my cat Neville

Actually that's how I ended up with two of mine. Bad parents who didn't deserve them. They always belonged with me, just like all my others.

But I really have hit my limit. I think after the last one is off to school... CJ's retired.

Too many kids, not enough CJ. There's sad stories about two of my kids, the new 5's is one of them. To discuss it would take a long time and CJ lacks the energy to do it. It's depressing but uplifting at the same time.

And we're not even counting my little brother and all the other children that would be left in my care if something happened to their parents. So CJ hopes for everyone's health and safety because my house can't hold any more people.  :D

Or animals, because the seven would take in every stray animal in this city if she could.

But back on topic, $1.49 ice cream at Kroger today! Wifey #2 loves ice cream. CJ loves licking it off of her.

 ;D

My friend does not look like the type to take in stray kids and give them a loving home.  He’s a big burly biker with a pony tail and hoop earrings who looks mean but isn’t.  He gets asked for ID picking up his grand daughter from school, because they are very hesitant to release a child to someone looking like him.

WOO to you Chirp. We have taken in teenagers and abused wives over the years who knew they could find a peaceful place for short term. None were strangers. The teenagers are now adults with good jobs and the abused wives now live a life free from their abusive husbands. We see them pretty often and it reminds us just how the real world can be so cruel but that there are caring people out there that will help those less fortunate.

Emancipate yourself from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our minds.

Wifey checking her Twitter this morning.

Sees hashtag praising black guy for running fast.

Wifey: Look, white girl, a black guy can run fast! If it isn't a hashtag about being gay, trans, a black rapper dropping a new profanity-laden diss track or fake professional wrestling, what is Twitter even good for?

Me: Asks the racist, gay "person of color" woman.

We drove to see Dan's oldest at college.   It was parents day at Western Michigan Univ.

We tailgated.  And everyone of her friends she introduced me to she said, "this is my new mom and she is awesome and my best friend."  And each time she had her arm around me.   I blamed the wind for making my eyes water all day, which is partiall true.    It was chilly and we did not go into the football game.

We played baggoo and I had to learn to play left handed.  I did awesome.   Not as good as I was right handed though with my bowling skills.

We took Dan's yummy chilli.   I baked a number of things.   Another parent brought cider and had it on a cooktop in a 3 galloon pot warming it.   Donuts.   Lots of other treats.   The donut s and cider yesterday kind of ruins our planned trip to the cider mill today.   Maybe next weekend.

Oh and the drive from Detroit to Kalamazoo along I94.  The leaves are changing.   Such a pretty drive.
