I drove all over Chicagoland and the Midwest for work for 20+ years.  When I first got to AZ I was stunned how much worse the drivers are out here.  They literally have PSAs on the radio about how to handle wrong-way drivers on the freeway.  One theory is all the transplants out here aren't used to how everyone else drives, so it's a giant hodge-podge.  My own personal theory is that since we rarely get adverse driving conditions -rain or snow- they never have to drive carefully.  Until next year, there's no statewide driving while using a cellphone law.

Texting with a friend, who has a daughter the same age as mine.   She will be hosting a sleep-over tonight and tomorrow.    Dan's oldest is at a 3 day concert at MI Intl Speedway.  The youngest will be at her mom's.
During the day, my friend and her family will be coming over and we're staying cool by the pool.
Two nights with no kids in the house from 8pm until 10am.  
Two days of sitting around doing nothing but chatting, chilling, and grilling.   Oh, and a sip or two.

Picking up my son at the airport in 24 hours.  He’s been gone in Europe for more than a month.  Glastonbury, London, Riga, Amsterdam, Munich, Lucerne, and Venice.  Lots of great places.  Can’t wait to swap stories with him.
