That I might have a date next week.

There are three kinds of people in the world. Those who can count, and those who can't.

Forgot to brag about my 2 for 2 prediction for the Oscars.

Best picture... I LOVED "Green Book", but doubt it will win.  It was a special movie.

Best Actor...Rami Malek in "Bohemian Rhapsody".   He was AMAZING.

Routine visit to the doctor yesterday, it was mere coincidence I happened to be sick.  My Peruvian went with me.  The doctor asked about my prescriptions trying to add discretely ‘and the blue pill?’  I replied, ‘It’s OK.  SHE KNOWS what the blue pill is for.’  My Peruvian blushed a deep red and turned her face away in embarrassment, but she was also grinning ear to ear.  Watching her reaction turned what was a bad day with us both being sick into a funny nice moment.

Mark left early Monday morning.   His plane lands in Detroit appx 7pm.  Home by 8pm.   My niece will be staying at her aunt and uncles and cousins tonight.

Our first Spring flowers are starting to appear even though we are experiencing below average temperatures.

My peach and nectarine trees all bloomed weeks ago.  Hope we do not have a late freeze, but I think we are ready for spring here.  I noticed some blooms on my favorite rose bush.

The polar vortex (or whatever the current buzz word is for air from the North Pole moving towards us) is going to make at least one more appearance next week.  I hope this doesn’t mess up anyone’s nice growing things.  Predicted to be in the teens here.

We have an overnight low between 28° and 30° predicted for Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. Hope it won’t be an y more serious than that.

You can bag blooming fruit trees for temps as close as that.  No promises, but that could raise your chances.

I was wondering about that.  Nothing around here is attempting to bloom yet.

Sorry, whoever was talking about nectarines earlier.  I got mixed up.  Tenting them around 28-31 farenheit should save some of them from a soft freeze.  If it gets down to 20, probably not.

Lows around here next week are predicted at 15-16 for a couple days.  I doubt Texas will see that, but a freeze is very possible.
