We're going for 15.  :'(

I went and sat in my car in the driveway yesterday.  I couldn’t take another minute of four and a dog.   :emot_laughing:

A couple of things made my day on Friday.

1st was the look on a couple of young boys’ (about 4 years old) faces when, at my request, one of the museum live animal specialists took out a giant millipede and gave a short talk about the critter. The boys were too short to see the millipedes in their terrarium.

2nd - my wife returned from a week in Calgary. She has a new job and went south for some training with the company she now works for.

That is all.

Even though the temperature outside is -30C, it is new motorcycle delivery day. And, old motorcycle removal day.

The dealer will be bringing the new bike by sometime this afternoon and picking up the old bike to be sold on consignment.

Yay

That is all.

It's Girl Scout Cookie Season!!!! :emot_wave2:

Our neighbor from across the street was over with her list of Girl Scout Cookies for sale. We picked out our favorites and gave her the money.  Didn't realize that the cookies were already here.  Shortly after, she and her little brother were back with arm loads of cookies, filling our order in no time at all.

Wheeeeeeeeee!  Just what an aging diabetic needs. :emot_laughing:

Went to see Cirque du Soliel, the Ama  Luna show.

Oh wow! It was visually sumptuous. The live music was wonderful. The performances were great!

Did I say oh wow!

Just wow!

It was fully worth the price of the ticket.

Absolutely!  :emot_101010:

Finally persuaded Mrs ODK that we should see them.  Saw Ovo (fabulous) last year and Totem (not quite so fabulous but still stunning) this year.  They don't come to the UK in the same order the shows are premiered, nor are the number of performances consistent.  Amaluna was here at one location in 2017, Ovo was at lots of UK locations, but Totem was back to one.

Princess, would you like to see it light up and hum when I wave it about

But Chirp... just think of the easy access to all the goodies

Oh wait, yes, I can see where that can be a problem. :D

I thought it was bad having a supply just across the street. The mom is the troop leader, so they have a few hundred cases on hand.

Lindsey Vonn, hometown girl adds one more medal to her vast collection in her final ski race of her career.  She's retiring, ten months earlier than planned and leaves the slopes as the best women skier of all time.  She also came close to tying the record of the best men's skier, Ingemar Stenmark.  He was on hand today at Lindsey's request to watch her final race before retiring due to shattered knees that are the result of her many crashed. She finished the stellar career wiht a Bronze.

Vonn first hit the slopes as a young child here in Minneapolis at a ski area called Buck Hills.  It is a hill, no where near a mountain. Most of the runs there would be considered a "bunny hill" at any other ski area.

She was a slow starter as a kid, getting the nickname of turtle.  That soon changed.  At age 12 her family moved to Aspen when it became clear that she had the makings of a champion.  Those expectations proved to be more than true as her record shows.

She still considers her roots to be here in Minnesota, and we think of her as one of our own.  Thanks for all the thrills Lindsey.

Right, Tagalongs is it.  Not Dosidos!
