Today's "make my day", is coming home from a three day, two night trip. Went to the western edge of Minnesota, spitting distance to So. Dakota. Lot's of wildlife refuges in the area. A couple others from our camera club went also. Lot to birds to see and "shoot" (camera only)
Had a lot of fun, got some great pictures but coming home is nice. The cats agree. They'll be all over us again for a few days, trying to convince us not to go away again.
Saw tons of American Pelicans, many variety of ducks (who like to stay out of camera range). My favorite that's rare around here is the Yellow-headed Blackbird. So pretty. They were everywhere over there. Like Red-winged Blackbirds, they're found in areas dense with cattails.
Good to be back and start following my KB friends!
