I stopped hacking up my lungs today!
I feel pretty normal compared to what I felt like.

Good news, Katie!  Keep getting better.  Take it easy this weekend.  Love you.  Get well soon.

Mark and I had a very nice evening.  We went to the theatre downtown and enjoyed the national tour of The Bodyguard Musical.   It was so good.  Deborah Cox was AMAZING.
Mark, who has been to one broadway play in his life prior to us dating, loves going now.  We've been to three shows in the last 3 months and he's already looking forward to Finding Neverland in February and Les Mis in March.  I'm so glad he's truly enjoying something I love so much.

We just got back from the North American Auto Show held in Detroit.  I love all the shiny new cars.

Mark actually had tickets to the black tie event last night but we went to the theatre instead.  He's kind of required to go, so he went today.  He'll be there a couple more times this week.

My favorite car I saw today that I want as a wedding present (if you all want to chip in on something together)

The Ford Mustang Bullitt

Another favorite is

The BMW X2 SUV

The Ford Mustang Bullitt

The Bullitt Mustang. It rolled off a California assembly line in January 1968 wearing a fresh coat of Highland green paint. Warner Bros. took delivery. It is the car Steve McQueen (and his stunt man) drove in one of the best chase scenes of all time.

Oh, I meant to mention, one of the 1968's that was in the movie was at the show.

It's being called "The Rusty Star of the Show"

Won my trial today.  Totally destroyed it.  Court gave my client 100% of what I was asking for, and the other side got 0%.  Seldom happens that way.  The other party was yelling at his lawyer, who refused to shake my hand.  Nice day in court.

Wifey went to trial and watched my performance.  Trials are very arousing, because of all the emotions and adrenaline involved.  She tore my suit off for a rousing fuck, when we got home.  Winning always makes me feel like a bull in heat.

I love when Jack McCoy chews up the defense and spits them out.

Yay.   I never thought of using a keyboard with my ipad.   I might use it more often.  I have a tiny Apple keyboard that came with my iMac.   Will have to try it.

What made my day....not sure if I mentioned already, or if I just told someone in PM, but we're getting up early and traveling up state to go skiing.

A fun day skiing yesterday.  It was beautiful out.  Didn't get home until after midnight.

We are relaxing today.  NOTHING on our schedule.  Think I might spend the day in my pj's   Games with the kids, a fire, a movie or two, a midday nap.  I don't feel like cooking either.  I'm craving Chinese carryout.

We've had a lazy day as well - we only got dressed because the eldest son's girlfriend came round for a cup of tea.

No cooking for us either - pizza shops deliver.
