I had an old timer tell me years ago that once you get to a certain age dropping a deuce is better.

A positive email from a friend.   I like what she had to say and am happy for her.

Catching my daughter feeding a stray kitten she's been secretly taking care of.

It was so sweet I couldn't be in any way mad about it.

My wife lecturing me and crying about my health issue, then fucking me silly for four hours.

Japanese girls... they make absolutely no sense to me. And I love it.  :D

Someone came to me, asked for my help, then apologized for the apparent poor context of the request.

Made me smile, and made me feel good.

I've never liked Pledge.  It looked great for the first day and left a nice shine but it left a waxy buildup and seemed to attract new dust.    I use Endust Dust and Clean.  I get it from Amazon.

What made my day today
Employee brought me (and everyone else) drinks from Tim Horton's.   I picked a Caramel Latte.   Soooo yummmmmy.   I rarely drink these.

The person who resurfaced went to lunch with me at P.F. Chang's. She had the Ahi Poke sushi dish, I had the Lobster and Avacado roll. Yum.

Best was we spent an hour and a half reconnecting over lunch and spent some more alone time. I feel wonderful!

History being made.

American history. There have been 20 women as leaders of national governments previous to Hillary getting the nod. Heck Canada had a female Prime Minister for a few months (Kim Campbell). The United Kingdom is on its second female PM. Israel had Golda Mier. And the list goes on.

What has made my day? One word --- VACATION

That is all.

Sitting on the patio in the cool morning watching Jefferson work putting up new shade cloth.  I came in when it got hot and muggy. AC is heaven!

One of the most amazing weekends of my life.   A lot of fun.  New Friends.   Great food at a pig roast party.

I remember the days when the extended family would get together on one of the farms they owned and the men would stay up all night roasting the pig and getting drunk and everyone else would bring a side dish. Now, it is very hard to get my family together because of everyone's hectic lifestyle and work.

Finished a major part of painting the dungeon.  It was raining so I could not work on the roof.

We have a foam roof.  Not leaking, but the elastomeric covering the foam was cracked during a hailstorm that also broke our skylight. Where the foam has eroded, I have to use the "Good Stuff" foam and then were it has puffed over the level of the roof I need to sand or cut it off.  (Fortunately there's not much erosion) Once this step is completed, I can coat the roof with silicone based roof coating.  This stuff is guaranteed for 50 years!

I am looking forward to completing many things during my week off.
