I through out a challenge to Jules to bet on the game. Too bad she missed it. Could be up at the cabin.
Vikes had a good start to the season. Let's see if they shake off the loss and come roaring back next game.

Maybe having that bye week took some edge off. :roll:

Dan had a Lions watch party at the house. The first since  January. It was supposed to be 8 people. It turned into 20. I had so much fun. And I was just so happy.

Dans chilli didn't last long but at least I got a bowl. Fritos layered on the bottom. Grated sharp chees on top  hand crunched saltines too.

Everybody left half hour after game except for Barb. She helped Dan clean up. And sat and had some wine with Dan and I.

Perfect day.

Do I get a Goff jersey for Xmas.  I think I want a Hutch inson. 

A fire sounds wonderful Eric. Have fun. Beautiful day in Michigan.

I found out today that Fran Tarkington is still alive (84). I also found out he is a vocal Trump supporter. Probably why a Super Bowl title continues to elude the Vikings.

I'm up in door county right now with friends. We are staying I. The camper we did last time. Her brother drove it up here, and will pick it up when we leave Thursday. Last time we were here, it was 80s and we were by the water in bikinis and flashing fisherman as they went by in their boats. This time we'd figure it autumn and will be beautiful with all the colors and cool that we'd be wearing goodies... it's 75 today, and we could be in bikinis flashing fisherman...

The colors are amazing, even though it's just beyond peak, it is still beautiful out. This morning it almost looked like the leaves were falling like snow. I always collect a few leaves here and there for my little scrap book thing. Keep it in my box of good journals and other positive stuff.

Going to have so much fun just relaxing, and spending time with friends. The only thing is, I'm in charge of fires, and if we do any cooking on the open fire I do it since "[I'm] the butch soldier that know that stuff" I don't mind it though, and I am pretty good at it though, not to toot my own horn, but Beep, Beep!

Speaking of fires, you light a few around this place S. At least you used too.

Saw Door County on 60 minutes Sunday. Showed winding curvy roads with trees on both sides.

Not sure how happy I am about this. Saw a huge box on the front step. It was from the same company that made my 4 wheel walker I use at the VA and I also got one for my wife
 
Since my little fainting spell a few days ago my legs aren't working very well. Wife and our friend talked behind my back and the friend bought me another walker. Now wife and I can have drag racing on the sidewalk.

Well today was weird.

Well the best news is that Wife is ready to go home. She is afraid they will wrangle her into a shift tonight, despite the overall head nurse giving her the week off. She told me earlier that she's seen maternity nurses stalking the floor. Plan on taking a break, to run her home, or send daughter to go get her mother, since she gets off work before me.

Someone ordered me lunch, which was cool. Got a call from my sister 1, she wanted me to know that she found a box in the attic with my name on it. She put it on my back porch. I think she knows I told the story of her being ditched by the dbag. But it is great my wife is coming home tonight. I told daughter to order in some chinese food cause wife might not be in the mood to cook.

Wife also learned she is not pregnant, but has a slight lower level of calcium in her system, and all.

Dan was upset that he couldn't find the Michigan MSU football game on television.  Very upset. BTN Network was not showing up in the YouTube tv menu. It's fixed. So that made my day.

I also walked 5 miles today. I'm proud of myself. Couch time end legs resting while Dan watches football
