I have 5 black polos and 5 white polos. They are my uniform. I wear one 80% of the time, unless I am in court. Usually with a suit or a sport coat.

For many years my uniform has been jeans and sweatshirts in the winter. Shorts and t-shirts in the summer. Can't remember last time I buttoned a shirt.
Once I was done with the business world shirts and ties were in my rearview mirror. ;D

So yesterday I posted about the neighbor kids down here bouncing up and down chanting Puppy eve, puppy eve!!!

Yep, a new puppy was coming the next day.

Today mom and the two kids showed up puppy in hand. They know how much we love animals and that we just lost our cat.

The new pup is a black Pug, 8 weeks old. As expected cute as a um, well a puppy. Her name is Grizzly. They do forest animal names. Their other dog is Moose. He's proved to be great with the puppy, being real careful around her, lifting his big paws when puppy scampers too close.

Hope we'll be seeing more of her. :D

Just filed my Canadian income tax return (a couple of days late but ...). For the first time in 17 years, I'm getting a refund. Having no income other than pension is making that possible.

It is a slow day at work. It's boring, and there are hardly any dogs in daycare, and the ones that are, are all sleeping right now.

As much as I love spending time with all these furry babies, I love that they are all home, happy, and healthy even more.

Son and his girlfriend are up north for a long weekend with another couple. Where they are has 3 local distillery’s. So I asked him to keep an eye out for any barrel proof bottles. Gave him a few that I’d like. He actually found the main bottle I really wanted. An 138 proof bourbon. Price was right and no mark up since they were at the distillery. Can’t wait to taste this one!!

Neighbors a week ago got a new puppy. The mom and two kids came down with the pup this evening. She's a cute little Pug. Right now a tiny thing that will grow fast.
We got to play with Grizzly, yep.cute puppy is named Grizzly. All their dogs are given animal names.

Grizzly is real good at following people and the other dog. Both dogs hit it off instantly. Moose is much bigger but is careful around the puppy.

It was so fun meeting the new puppy neighbor. Really made my day. :D

For the next few weeks, Mrs JBRG and I are looking after a friend's house and swimming pool. Considering the daytime highs are currently high 80s/low 90s and will only get hotter, unrestricted access to a vey private pool is great. And, for this time, I can do some nut roasting. Nothing like laying in the Baja sun buck ass naked.

I lurk more than I post, but I value the people and discussions here.
