I would like to thank the person or persons who got KB's account out of being suspended. And may Jules send some warm weather up to the Midwest.  8)

Ditto PH and Watcher.

Eight days ago I suddenly got the “this account is suspended” page when browsing KB, it was the same page I got when the board was truly suspended by the host due to the discovery of underage content. I kept checking back each day and the same page was displayed. I tried contacting PH and MissB using the email address shown in the emails received when someone reports a post, both were returned with a “cannot deliver email to that address” error. Then yesterday I tried to access KB and instead of the formal “account suspended” page I got a page containing the message “This website has been suspended” in simple plain text. Any attempt to type www.kristensboard.com in the url bar resulted in the same result, using different devices and browsers.

In desperation and hoping that someone might have posted a message somewhere on social media about the suspension I Googled kristensboard. The first hit returned was a link to GeminiGuy’s stories. I clicked on it and got straight in without having to login.

Even though the site is still suspended I have to go via the googled link and not www.kristensboard.com

My morning routine is to go to KB to see what happened over night. This past week has been hell finding the same banned message.

So yes getting back to normal has made my day. Welcome back my fellow KBers. :D

I had no issues last night when I was using my tablet but when I tried accessing KB on my laptop this morning, an Access Denied message appeared along with a message that the server may have a virus.  So, back to the tablet.

I tried what Obi did, by Googling kristensboard, from the laptop, and was able to access KB via Geminiguy's stories.

Doorbell rang and outside was our neighbors up the street from us. Mom was there with one of the girls. Looked up the sidewalk to see dad crouching down with a camera and their five year old bringing the dog on a leash.

Video was being shot. I was worried because all neighbor dogs know there's treats at our house. Usually people just drop the leash and let the dogs charge up on their own. I had visions of Moose charging ahead with a kid flying behind in the air.

Dad was ready and grabbed the leash and soon the whole family was on the front porch. In the summer the girls are regular visitors. Winter, the visits are much less.
In addition to seeing everyone, Moose got the doggie treats he was expecting.

Our other treats were some artisan bread and a couple off plate size cinnamon rolls with thick frosting. Should last us all week.

So, was a special surprise, almost as good as the video call from my daughter earlier. Her husband used their tractor to beat down a path through the deep snow for their terrier's walk through the woods. The dog was cute to watch as she romped down the trail sniffing at various messages. Best is when they get to the road. The dog stops and waits for the OK. When traffic is clear Mom says ok and she charges across the road and home to her own yard. Also all three will be here in mid-April for a long visit. :D :emot_wave2:

Facetime or other video conferencing apps - a definite upside of the internet.  When families cannot be there in person, these apps are the next best thing.  Hope all your snow melts, Bob, before your family arrives in April.

Seeing another member return after the shutdown.
I missed Barb and I felt my heart skip a beat when I saw her name.
Now where is our 3 time POY?
(I've actually been in email contact with her.  She's doing good. Patience everyone)

Being snow free in April is always a question mark. There are some huge piles now where snow as been cleared. Some of those will last

Getting more new snow is possible but it usually melts the same day. Still lots of winter left.

Slowly but surely, the KB gang is finding that KB is back up and running.  Again, kudos to all who brought KB back from the edge of extinction.

Been preoccupied with family stuff, but glad to see it wasn't the end of KB. May disappear here and there for a few days while dealing with it, but I'll try to check in when I can. 💋

Many, many thanks to those behind the scenes for getting us back together. It has been a bit different.

Ended up going back to an previous forum I used to visit, and it was the same toxic, disgusting mess it was when I left. Wasn't sure what I expected.

So glad to see you Shiela. Sorry to hear You're having family problems. I know from previous posts you have a tight family so I'm sure you'll all pull together and take care of whatever.

Having KB down was a bitter way how important this site is to those of us who are regulars here

Hope things straighten out for you and we see you on a regular basis.

So I gave you a WOO for popping back in. See you're closing in on.1900 WOOs. Best to you

Thanks love :emot_kiss: :emot_kiss:

My dad was in the hospital most of last week. He has an irregular Heart beat (AFib) I had no idea and he either never told me or it just happened. The way he claims it happened, He was working on a project for a neighbor he was getting stressed out about it. He heart was beating fast and it never slowed down for several hours. When his chest started hurting he called 911 thinking he was having a heart attack.

I spent every night except one at the hospital with him, and then slept at his house up until Wednesday yesterday morning. Only stopping at home for hygiene. Now he tells me to stay away from the house, I dont need to be there, I have my own life to take care of and "My presence is stressing him out" he could have just said he wants alone time with his GF.

Anyways. Outside of the diet and other lifestyle changes he may have to deal with, he's doing just fine. Just scary for me.

I had a fib that put me in the hospital twice. I had a procedure called a cardiac ablation in 2017. Have not had a problem with it since.  Make sure he asks his doctors about it. Minimally invasive.

Exactly what happened to a friend of mine last year.  He has recovered well from the procedure.

My wife has Ventricular tachycardia since she got the second shot. Sadly she doesn’t want to take it serious and it can kill her. She is seeing a doctor and  we keep hoping th er can straighten it out before something bad happens

The lease on our current home ends mid-April. So, we've been house hunting for the last couple of months or so. Our current landlords have a total of 10 rental units here in La Paz. Not necessarily in the parts of town we ideally want to be. We went over to one of their other properties to have a second look at one of them. It's a bit more expensive than the space we are in but it is bigger and closer to the desired part of town. We told them that we would let them know by Wednesday if we will take it. We have an appointment to see two units on Tuesday in the part of town we want. Those units, however, have some downsides. Lack of space for the dogs and a crappy parking situation chief among them. I am certain we will be taking the one we looked at yesterday. So, we know we won't be homeless in Baja Sur.

That is all.
